The trunk opener button is to disable the trunk/boot from being opened electronically. Commonly known as the valet mode, it only allows the boot to be opened using the key.
The spare wheel is a full sized alloy and its underneath the tray in the boot. Its commendable how they put a full size alloy where no other company does that.
Hate it when he does the vlog too casually and misses stuff. Okay, being natural and spontaneous vlogging maybe his style, but c'mon. Do some research on stuff. Most of the times, he jumps in, find some stuff, doesn't bother to see what it is, leaves it.
@@kl01af6940 Ya true. I was even more surprised because he has a vlog on pre facelift ES as well and still he did not remember or cared to know if there was a spare wheel. Its like he just wanted to convey one message and repeat the same thing 10 times that this is just an overpriced camry.
It's really annoying at times. It's like we Indians just aren't allowed to have nice things coz of these stupid taxes. Be it a good car.. or good tech.
They can bypass the import duties if they assemble/manufacture the car in india, and it creates jobs in india, but these car companies sell and earn from india by creating jobs in china and japan.
@23:08 if you want the mirror to move when you put reverse put you gear into reverse then you move the mirror to the position you want it to go and put the gear back in P then whenever you go to reverse the mirror will move to where you set it in reverse gear.
I spotted you at the Expressway doing driving vlog of this car, wanted to meet you but didn't want to disturb you. Maybe one day we will have a conversation
The germans like 3 series and dont even offer rear seat controls or 3 zone climate or automatic sunblind for passengers, or active noise cancellation, that's why this is the best selling mid sized luxury sedan in the US more than c class, e class, 3 series, 5 series, A4, A6 and its the same price as the 3 series, c class etc in the US
Both are great sedans, but if you want to purchase it first hand then go for Camry. But if you don't have any problem with the image associated with buying a second hand car then surely go for the Lexus es300h, as it's a dream car for many high class thinking gentlemen like me. One for sure is Lexus es300h has that unique Lexus sedan design , which makes it look like having super expensive sedan, and it's design will make you a class apart from others.
Lexus is a luxury brand and most people these days wouldn't consider $40-50k pricey for a luxury vehicle. Lexus is also lowest cost of maintenance out of all luxury brands - only 3rd with Toyota being 1st and Scion being 2nd and even lower than Honda! They also have the best resale value out of all the luxury automotive brands according to KBB. So you were saying...?
It feels over priced because it's being compared to the wrong segment. The price range of es300h sits between C-class and 3 series. Also at the price of beefed up top variant of es or C-class one can't even get a base variant of Eclass. Please say a comparison between C-class and ES
How is the ES pricey? You have to compare it with an E-class which costs north of 80L and this costs 74L. The E class is way more expensive to maintain, less reliable and has very less fuel efficiency. The ES is underpriced not overpriced
@@hnki444 Then you are just a POOR guy trying to show FAKE status. I own a GSXR 1000R and during very fast (200+) riding it consumes around 7-9 l/km. Oh! it takes premium fuel. I enjoy the speed & power, experience the thrill and never whine about mileage or maintenance, considering Super Bikes do run quite a bit on maintenance & 5k kms tyre change for 40-50k. I can afford all these things and never show FAKE status.
My mamu just bought this in Dubai for his premium taxi service for less than $50000…..Indian import duties are out of this world…itna mehenga kar deta he.
Trunk wasn't opening probably because the button in the glove box must have been pressed. That's to manually lock the boot. Mostly used when you have gold bars or a perhaps a body hidden in the boot (kidding) and you plan on giving the car to a valet.
The car is great I am a really big Lexus fan i mean the design is so good and the interior also btw Faisal can you help me. We have a 10 yr old swift and we will sell this now in this time can you recommend a car for around 9-12 lakhs we are not buying bcs my family and I don’t like the joker 🃏 design of Kia me Hyundai we were going to buy glanza but my mother says the ac is not strong
