I would wait until it gets cheaper it's nice if you really want something cool but if you like stuff that works really well I would just wait.

I really appreciate it I did spend a lot of Sweat and Tears on it but I did sell it and now I have an FJ again.

call quality I would say if not like the original maybe even better and when it comes to Bluetooth connectivity works a lot better than the original one.

I would love to help you more but to be honest I am unsure of where the installation went wrong and what exactly the installer had to do to run a difference amplifier. if everything works and you can hear from all the speakers and it sounds good I wouldn't change anything. this is a very difficult upgrade and it's much harder of an installation than anything else I've tackled. In regard to the resistor here's my explanation: from the vehicle the cable that needs to connect is the blue cable you'll see at 10:53, the resistor itself is the dongle that has three wires coming out 9:09 red orange and purple wires, you leave the red wire connected and just disconnect the orange and purple, you'll see a white connector at time 9:38 I completely cut off all five wires, I connected the purple wire from the resistor to the gray and black wire and the orange to the gray wire. this should fix your problem.

This is the best mod you can buy for your truck, I use it for my LED pods, on-board air compressor and off-road siren. you can learn your factory garage door opener to copy the remote signal. I'll start by saying for sure it won't sound better, this system is just for looks and if you would like to have more features. Your sound quality for sure will decline not by much but it will not be better.

Besides looks this is a really shity stereo I would highly suggest not to purchasing. I already sold that GX460 with the stereo that stopped working for the new owner after 6 months. I purchased a newer GX460 and I will not be upgrading/downgrading to this stupid stereo. save your money!

With money anything could be done, but the disadvantages that you have with a iPad; overheating (especially on hot days when your car is parked and you come back and you want to use it ), a lot of custom work, if the battery did die in the iPad it takes a long time for it to boot back up.

It is pretty but I have would never put it into a new truck. it's like a cheap $80 units on steroids my conclusions; not very reliable doesn't always work properly if you have a newer unit I wouldn't waste the money mine was a 2011 and the radio is a little different (Bluetooth very unreliable) in the older model.

Thanks a lots for your help, the problem of the air bag issue was resolved thanks to your instructions. I don’t know if you received any operating instructions for the unit, I wonder if you know the number codes to access different functions or where to get them. I purchased my unit through Amazon, but I didn’t receive any help whatsoever from the Chinese sellers, they just gave me the runaround with promised help that never came. Thanks again.

it seems to come with universal connectors for all years of the 460, but it does not come with any diagram or instructions of how to connect the wires and what wires not to connect. You need to be pretty technical if you want to connect this by yourself but if your technical there's nothing you can't overcome.

@@RVGuyss thanks for your response! I plan on installing this myself in my 2011 gx460. Did you have to do trial and error with the connectors? Did you use the existing backup camera? Does the 3zone climate control still work? The unit state that its android 9.0. Is it Really 9.1 px6 model? I really appreciate your help?

@@abuelb So I know there's a few different manufacturers that make the same unit. I am not sure they're all manufactured with exactly the same connectors. I have sold my vehicle 2 weeks ago. The connectors were completely trial-and-error please look at the video and you can kind of see my trial and error. when I went into the specs it did say android 9.1. 3 Zone climate control does work but as you see and my video there is a bug. changing the degrees it shows as if it's changing it on the opposite side. In general the good unit I don't think it's worth the money if it was 6 - $700 it would be worth it but not much more than that. Don't run to get rid of your original unit because I'm not sure how much this would last. looks great but functionality wise sadly it's pretty cheap.

The problem is because you bought it from China. Get the PHoenix brand, cheap and works great

sadly I'm not sure of the exact value of the resistor, it came with my radio on the loom(all the wires) it was just installed in the wrong place. from the vehicle the cable that needs to connect is the blue cable you'll see at 10:53, the resistor itself is the dongle that has three wires coming out 9:09 red orange and purple wires, you leave the red wire connected and just disconnect the orange and purple, you'll see a white connector at time 9:38 I completely cut off all five wires, I connected the purple wire from the resistor to the gray and black wire and the orange to the gray wire. this should fix your problem sorry for the extreme delay I am overseas.

Chinese are very good at coming up with Solutions it uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to connect uncertain of exactly how it works.

I don’t have that GX anymore but in my newer GX I did not install this tesla screen. I installed a CarPlay screen above the dash. And it works perfectly.

Looking at ordering this unit. What are your thoughts on it a year out? Do you recommend it?

@@yanelawynne738 three words: save your money. besides the fact that it stopped working after a year, it looks cool, "upgrade the interior", there is a lot to get used to at the beginning and if you like using the radio that's non-existent (the antenna receiver inside the radio sucks). conclusion: If Looks is what's important to you I would buy it, but for any other reason I would save my money.

You are completely right it is a piece of s*** but that's how these screens are advertised
