This channel focuses heavily on travel trailer and RV modifications and upgrades. Anyone who owns a camper knows two basic things space is limited, and stuff breaks all the time. I try to optimize our travel trailer by adding budget friendly modifications that make life easier.
Thank you for this video. Instead of the LED lights Strip Controller you recommended, I am considering using Wi-Fi/Zigbee modules. They are easier to use and I don't have to strip wires
The newer version of this with Android 12.0 and carplay and android auto cam be purchased at Phoenix Automotive for $600. Should be alot faster and better. The newer version also has physical buttons and knobs like the oem head unit.
I bought a 2012 optima as if the engine problem isn't bad enough , I've had the car for 3 months and it just started raining really bad , I live in fort Lauderdale by the way so you get the picture when it rains 😁 anyway I put a mop bucket in my car and it fills up to the top Andover. I siliconed the entire back window the antenna before I tried attempting to do this. Thank you for the Post 👌
I know this was ages ago, but we finally got fed up with not being able to open the refrigerator all the way. Can you tell us how you did the doorknob?
This is a great tip! Thank you very much for making a dedicated video for it. I saw it quickly in your bathroom upgrade video and was going to go back to re-watch and ask a question about it after I got done watching some more of your ingenious upgrades.
My hubs and I have been considering getting a Wolf Pup and I have to say removing that dinette really opened up room in the trailer. Was it a big hassle or did it come out fairly easily? I also like your toilet. Once you go bidet, you feel like a savage when you don't have one.
Once you figure out where all the screws are, it’s very easy to remove most of stuff in the campers. Truly, not a big deal. The bidet is a must! And also the porcelain toilet and not just the plastic one that it comes with. I don’t know where you’re located, but if you’re interested, we just posted our alpha wolf for sale. It’s a bit bigger, but it has every single upgrade you could think of.
Do you have 2 propane tanks? Did you upgrade your battery? Great video's. We just bought a late 2021 16FQ with adventure package. I been watching your videos for over a year. My wife always liked the FQ and she wanted a tub so since this has a shub it will be perfect. We get it in June . Excellent idea on the small boxes on the tailgate. Noooo now I have to look at the back up camera and no skills soldiering ahhhh.
I just started watching the new video that Hoovie’s garage put out on the Fisker if you watch the first minute of the video that is exactly how the screen works after sometime it doesn’t.
hi the small holders/stoppers you said were from home depo that lock those new grey doors above the bed.what are those actually called? i found the doors and hinges just need those things pls
@@RVGuyss Yeah, the wife wants a 12volt ceiling fan for when we Boondock. I guess I will have to find a ceiling fan that has a DC motor and build a circuit to convert it.
hey we are buying a alpha wolf and was wondering after seeing this how hard it was to remove the bunks? and if you can re install them later for resale if you dont cut them up?
They are fairly easy to remove. You will need to move a little bit of wiring, but not anything dangerous or hard if your technical it’s not a big deal And if you keep all the hardware and wood, it is a very easy to install everything back if needed
Yes, I do leave the TV mounted on the wall while I drive I’ve been doing it for the past few years with no issues originally when I started traveling, I did always take the TV off but after several years, I can tell you nothing ever happened to my TVs
Another good informative video! My wife cannot reach the pucks in our Pup. I've done some research into remotes, these look like a great solution. I cannot imagine the pucks lasting long with someone turning them on/off with a broom handle. 🤣
You're correct, sadly both the locks are very easy to pick and open. I do recommend on upgrading. The video is aimed for day-to-day use to not lock yourself out.
Thanks for sharing! I went with the Vline that turns your existing screen into carplay but it is so laggy and we hate it. It sometimes will randomly reboot and trying to have a conversation on the phone is almost impossible. How does this work with your phone calls? Does it use the stock mic or does it have a built in mic? I am thinking of taking out the Vline and putting this in. Thanks again :)
This is my third GX and every single time I wanted to go with Vline but I never could justify 700 just for carplay. that's why the first time I went with the Tesla screen so at least it looks improved and newer which I also found out was really not very good, but these screens are super reasonable and they really work very good Im happy
