I can confirm this install video is pretty much identical with the process of installating it on IS250s. Only difference is that the crown gear bolts has retainers on the 250. You just hammer those down with a hammer & a pin punch. Then bend them back when you are done with the conversion kit install. Draw a line on the crown gear and above so you remember how it lines up (just in case it matters). No difference at all in comfort vs stock! Not yet drifted mine as I'm bedding in my new clutch & flywheel. But the car is riding smooth as butter, no annoying diff clunk or judder. Installation of the kit is easy with this video. The hard part is getting the axles out of the diff. I wrapped a nylon tow strap around the axles and yanked hard to pop them out. Any other method was impossible for me, a real pain. I guess it could work with a slide hammer + a cv axle removal claw screwed onto the slide hammer. The axles are held in by c-clips on the is250 and must go out completely straight. To ge the axles in you have to put grease under the c-clips so that they are centered when pushing the axles into the diff. To get them in i used a large flathead screwdriver and put it into the groove on the diff end of the axle. Then hammered with a medium sized sledgehammer onto the screwdriver. Buy new axle seals just in case, easy to damage them when taking the axles out. I recommend buying an axle seal puller to make it a lot easier getting those out. I used a BGS 117 from Amazon, worked very well. You also need a 12 mm hex bit, a 12mm 12-point box wrench and an extender for it to be able to get the rear three 12mm hex bolts off. They sit in a very tight space.
Have there been tests on it yet? Because it looks like a good alternative to the torsen diff which is getting very expensive and rare. I might give it a try.
We tested it on many different cars. And I can say that Lexus conversion is the best as the factory diff allows plates to be very large. Check our Customer's content list for testimonials. ru-vid.com/group/PLmw-XXlNglif7Z7UPtf2wKvdXHnIDPz8_
Hello I’m very interested about the kit, love the thought! But I have questions I have a Lexus is200 for my daylie and at the same time to drive hard and sometimes doing drift in the rain can it support drifts?
I would like to see more Mercedes applications also. I have both BMW and Mercedes cars, but RacingDiffs seem to prefer BMW's more. I did get a kit for my Merc, but it didn't fit perfectly without one simple modification. If they had more info about Mercedes cars, they could easily make more Mercedes kits as well.
Hvala puno

Hi, will this work on an automatic 2nd gen IS250? I saw in a different comment that it was designed for the manual diff, but afaik both use the same diff just with different ratios. Thanks
Hi please help me.. can you confirm..that on a normal drive around a twisti road it works like a normal differencial..and only when i lose grip it turns into a lsd transmision? I want to buy one for my mercedes..but it's 300euro..i don't want to trow the money away for nothing.. i drive 99% of the time..normal..but 1% i like to drift my car..specially on a raini day or snow.. that's why i was asking..does it drives like a normal car and only when i drift it turns into LSD? Thank you
It is designed to fit IS300. Customers managed to install it in IS250, but we are going to change the fitment list then. Thank you for the feedback on that.
Would you be able to forward the critical dimensions? I can forward you what you need to know of the rav4 differentials. The oem ones are hard to come by and are sought after
@@RacingDiffs Did you manage to get it on a car to show how well it works? If you do so I believe you will sell a lot. I will be the first to buy one 😅
