Have never seen many of these videos online, let alone recent ones so when I came across a local ISF with the rare HKS mid pipe and catback I took a video. Not my car. It is an 11 Lexus IS-F with stock headers

Hi, so the ISF in this video isn’t mine, it’s just one I saw locally that happened to have the full HKS catback. Usually it’s only the axleback that people have. With headers there can be some drone and too much loud rough tone, so a valved setup IMO was best paired with headers. Without headers any catback with the mufflers deleted(and secondaries as well as all catbacks do) is perfect. Raw enough to be vocal without being too illegal.

Not sure about JP laws yet, but hear (unexpectedly) that they are pretty stringent Thinking similar setup with PPE headers (or Sikky), Kooks Green (EPA) cat, and Varex Or something like that. This would be my first mod, so using some local friends to refer me to appropriate shops etc Also the RR ECU Tune
@@okimike5963 PPE also came out with headers with cats, but for the price and the smaller gains I cannot say it's worth it. Honestly I would avoid headers and the hassle of emissions and the smell, just add a nice cutback and focus on suspension, wheels, and brake mods instead. The RR tune is good, there is also a Loi tune out now too supposedly with marginally better gains.
