The Borla/Bazooka with headers sounded amazing, but was super loud and attention getting(both good and bad). Cold starts in a neighborhood are obscene, and hour+ trips are a no go. The drone alone was a nightmare. The Xforce Varex sounds quieter wide open, but is very livable and 1.5 years in I've had zero issues with it or the motors/mufflers. With valves closed it's pretty much stock sounding and very easy to deal with, with it partly open 1-3 clicks you get a great burble and sound. For a weekend car/racecar Borla Bazooka, but for a daily or something you can enjoy as a luxury car still, the Varex is a great way to go. Performance wise they are the exact same, though with valves closed you do lose a bit of power and above 4k rpm you get kind of a wooshing sound since the exhaust gases have to go through all the muffler baffles. I much prefer the Xforce varex. See a cop or leave at 5am, or have a headache and with the push of a button it's silent.
Hey man! Great videos! Just wondering if you could tell me the widest wheels and tires I could run on my 08 isf. I’m trying to stick with 19” wheels but wanting more stance than the stock ones
Not sure why you want specifically the widest wheels, a simply better offset could make it much more flush. Wider wheels will naturally weigh more unless you go for forged or better cast which will cost more. Going too wide and you will have to stretch tires. That being said, on my current F I run 19x9.5+45 square with 255/35 and 285/30 tires. Fits great with no issues and are lighter than oem wheels.
