@@AsatorIV same man. That scream of engines with 10 or 12 cylinders is just annoying and leaves you deaf. Unlike deep growl of engines with less cylinders but longer strokes is a sound that i enjoy listening
@@vetriprimus4093 Toyota employed Yamaha to engineer the sound of the engine. Everybody knows Lexus is Toyota's premium brand, and that has nothing to do with what I said.
@@vetriprimus4093 Yamaha has its fingerprints on damn near every great Toyota engine. The 1JZ was partially designed by them. The BEAMS as well. Yamaha concert division tuned the exhaust of the LFA. Yamaha is a cousin to Toyota in many ways.
Saddest thing about this is, we didn’t realise at the time that this would be one of the last great sounding SuperCars of its time. Now we are looking forward to electric cars not filled with the same joy as these did.
Hopefully politics realise that the contribution to emission gas of such exotic cars is completely dwarfed by the rest and allows manufacturer to produce limited amount of internal combustion engine cars which they'll do their best to make special

It's like Clarkson with the bacon air freshener and they'd have a meat pie in a jiffy show this to an electric car owner they'd get saving for an lfa instead of the new tesla in a jiffy only one reason not to own an electric car but a good reason and you'd earn the money back after because it's an lfa wich is rare and one of the last few v10s and one of the best sounding tho a tesla might not in the future I'm guessing as there's so many around
They made a loss on all of them then people make a profit on them if you bought one and held onto it and car prices went up so lexus would of made a profit eventually and we'd have more of a good car
@@aaroncable340 I'm not mad a lexus. They wanted to make a car that was perfect in their eyes regardless of opinion. That's somthing aside from business truly. That's a passion for cars that I won't dismiss. We need that spark back in the auto industry tbh.
@@bioheart09 I know they spent around ten years redesigning it or something and I also agree cars need a spark instead of being boring suvs that you don't need and that are useless half of the time offroad I'm glad they did perfect it pretty much its an interesting car wich sounds good and fun to drive I haven't driven one but I saw the top gear review qnd alot about the lfa
@@aaroncable340 dude, you will get there. Defintially try to see one in person. And you so right about these soulless SUVs. *cough cough* Chevys new trailblazer 😂

So smooth and refined. Beautiful sound. And no "harsh' notes at all. Everyone who involved in designing LFA would be Proud of themselves. And they should
letting it warm up you mean....oil pressure is at its highest 1 sec after start up in any car when its cold. you can hear the idle drop and then he revs
Its more important to let engine warm up for tolerances as yeah oil pressure is like a second to be fine, however engine tolerances are designed for engine at operating temperature
@@ghettochicken8420 how lmao, none of my vehicles doesnt get to 160 oil temp ever when driving normal till 5 miles down the road. coolant temp gets to 160 pretty quick but still takes 2+ mins idling, better to rev to 2500rpm and leave it there for 30secs. Full throttle or free revs i wait till 170 coolant temp
Guys I really just don’t get it, it’s down to your opinion at the end of the day. I personally think this is way overhyped and everyone treats it like some absolutely god, I disagree, it looks incredibly ugly, it sounds good but there are better sounding cars, V10’s too. Idk, each to their own but I just don’t get it.
@@Siamese_cat_ im agree, i prefer 905V10, Dodge Viper, some Lamborghini and the best sound on earth, not a V10 but....5 cylindres Audi... fucking eargasm!!!!
I've seen 2 of these in person so far, and they're absolutely incredible sounding. Of all the ICE cars ever sold, I still think this one sounds the best, bar-none.

Tbh, I think that’s really fucking dope. It makes it feel like ur firing a weapon. Imagine if Lamborghini did the same thing but with their button (u have to flip up the button cover to turn on the car similar to how u fire a missile). U turn the key, which unlocks the button cover that u then flip up to start the car. It’s a lot, but it makes u feel like a badass every time
Ive never heard one of these in person. All the videos online dont impress me but ill probably be blown away if I ever get a chance to actually hear it.

The second i saw the car way back when, i instantly fell in love. Such a gorgeous car and the best sounding engine note in a road car. Always felt it got so much undeserved hate but happy that over the past few years, it’s been getting the appreciation it’s always deserved.
Didn't understand anything but i want to say: Thanks Japan for the Lexus LFA - the best supercar ever, and for 1LR-GUE - the best internal combustion engine ever.
It isn’t incomparable though, so many cars look better and sound better, plus this car is incredibly overpriced. I don’t get it with you carboys and this car.
@@burakacar2854Hmm, i don't think so. Japanese cars look ugly to my eyes, and this one looks and sounds horrible. Sure japan makes reliability but..meh. I don't know why the hype and ridiculous price for this car.
