Like you I prefer the wider stance. I had a Suzuki Samurai and the wider tires made a huge difference when I did a 360 in the middle of an intersection on a rainy night in Oregon. That's another story! I'm thinking about purchasing an LX470 although I'd rather have the Land cruiser. The issue of course is the price. I can purchase an LX cheaper than the LC. As stupid as it is I like the LC grill over the LX but the more I see the LX with after market rims and tires I like it. I live in Michigan also!

It’s crazy how the less “fancier” platform is worth more with these SUV’s! I was never planning on getting into this but i found this 2000LX with low mileage and a deal I couldn’t pass up. Best decision I’ve made so far, it’s so comfortable to drive and feels like an absolute tank, its even way more comfortable than my 2016 RAM 1500. I highly recommend these platforms! What part of Michigan are you from? We’re in the AnnArbor/Ypsilanti area!

The LX470 is amazing. The interior is super nice. Most comfortable stock seats I've ever had and I have a broken back. Another benefit of the LX470 is that the typical owners were grocery getters with kids. Not rough drivers. Either way, you'll love the 100 series!

Im a wheel spacer kind of guy right up until its flush. If the tire sticks out even the slightest, its going to chew up the paint.

Please check them regularly for stress cracks especially the fronts. Seen some fail on the forums.

@@MJAltairy the cracks are on the spacer itself. The alloys used in the cheaper China ones are pretty brittle

I think it looks a lot better! Good find on these spacers. What do you think about 2.5" instead of 1.5"? Maybe will be looks even wider and badass. lol. I'm looking for one to buy. By the way, great video too!

With the Landcruiser conversion kit and bigger torsion bar on my 2006 Lexus LX470, I have more room for bigger tires than 275/60/18. I was thinking about Duratrac 285/70/18.. what is the biggest size with this kit? Any idea will be welcome. Thank you guys

How much of a lift will you accomplish with this? Looks like the 285/75/18 combo is practically almost a 35in tire (34.8) which could give ya som rubbing issues and might require some trimming. Also keep in mind this will make your SUV feel sluggish with the bigger tires unless you plan to regear. Highly recommend using this site listed below. I use it all the time to compare tire sizes. @@MJAltairyYesss, I agree. With the bigger landcruiser torsion bar AHC delete kit the 275/60R/18 looks too small now. I think the 285/70R/18 with a 1.5in spacer should be ok. I will try this size without the spacer first to see.

@@thyrithsakadanguon1908 so the reviews are both for their 2in and 1.5in spacers. If you look under each review, it will say 1.5 in or 2in. When you click on the link in my description, it takes you directly to the 1.5in option. All the negative reviews are regarding their 2in. The 1.5 in spacers have good reviews and they are what I am running on my lexus in this video. They clear the front hubs and they’ve been smooth so far.
