@@griprep3506 No unfortunately the car was totaled back in 2019. I'm driving an EV now and love it just the same! I still lurk around clublexus and the GS Facebook groups from time to time. It's a fantastic car especially when it's in mint condition
Yea, we used a kit off a website called www.1uzfeswapkit.com/ Quick note: 350z six speed, t56, and other non Toyota 6 speeds will need a lot of extra work to get your speedo working.
Could be the pins in the cluster not having a good connection. You can test this by banging on top of the cluster a couple of times. We had the same problem with our SC300 when we bought it.
We had the O/D light flashing on the dash after the swap, but other than that no lights. The other light you see on in the top left of my dash is for my break light.
Not really faster. Autos are usually going to be faster if you're talking straight lines. It might feel faster but I think thats because you feel more connected to car.
I honestly have no idea what you're talking about dude... This isn't a track day lol. If you would watch the video you would see that he's in a comfortable position and state of mind so stop ya trippin. If i rode in a car with someone who always has 2 hands on the wheel (while driving manual?) then i'd be pretty scared because thats a sign of them being unsure of themselves and a lack of confidence in their driving abilities. If both the driver and passenger feel comfortable during a car ride then that's the safest way to drive.
CAUTT As I said, u should look at videos oriented on driving positions and why is that important. Of course its more comfortable to have 1 hand on the shifter and second on the steering wheel. But roads are full of unexpected situations and your reaction time is in best way 3 times slower than reaction time of responsible driver who is sitting in right position. And for example 2 seconds in speed 90kph means about 70metres on the road and another 50 metres of braking. So responsible driver can more easily avoid disaster meanwhile driver like on this video can only easier kill himself and his passengers. And thats the reaction time. There is another factor. When you drive responsible you drive all possible time with both hands on the steering wheel situated "14:45" or marks on steering wheel for fingers will show you. Why? Because when you have to brake you need also stabilize your car or avoid something in front of you. And u cant do it when you are driving with left hand on the botttom of the steering wheel ale right hand chilled on the shifter, which dont even need while braking in bad situation... So having both hands on the right position isnt stresfull or whatever but its lifesaving. If your instructor in driving school didnt say it to you just go ask some profesional driver or watch videos on RU-vid. There are lot of them, and they will show you risks of your driving so much better than me in this comment...
CAUTT Shortest point of my comment is that driving like its the guy on this video is risky and dangerous for him and his passengers and also dangerous for the other members of tge traffic in his close distance.
