Thank you! This was really helpful. I’ve used hard gels before but most of my clients get acrylics. I’ve recently begun to have some pretty severe negative effects after a long day of doing my acrylic clients. ( headaches, blurry eyes and dizziness, even with an over head exhaust fan running!) I’ve decided I’m going to be switching to hard gel nails and I’ve always loved watching the light elegance videos. Now I know more about the products and am really hoping this will help me feel better after a long day of work.

I am an acrylic user and i just bought the cool gel. My co-worker bought the one step gel so we could try. We are used to a local gel co called So-gel which is very low viscosity. We are struggling with application a little bit but i just did my fist set yesterday with the cool gel and can't wait to see how it looks in 2 weeks. I did spend an extra 15 min on application then when i do acrylic so we'll see if i can improve application time

What I would love is if you would consider making the butter creams in the larger size (17ml) because I have gone through what I had and would love it in the larger size, thanks.

I have used all the light elegance clear gels except for cool gel, talia from talia nail's tales used the cool gel for the first time and both her and her client experienced extreme heat from the cool gel, could this have been a bad batch?

I’d like this video with the type o nail to use it with, like mani cure works well for weak nails. Also, if you use mani cure on weak nails, would I use a stronger one over it to make long enhancements? Does that negate the flexibility of the mani cure? 😁. Thanks!
@LightEleganceHQ
@LightEleganceHQ 5 месяцев назад
Because this is an older video, Manicure gel has since been discontinued. The closest in flexibility to it would be our JimmyGel builder gel in a bottle. When it comes to gel nails and building enhancements or extensions, you always want your hardest (least flexible) gel on the bottom & you can build structure or strength with more flexible gels on top. For someone with weak nails, we would recommend building your extension with our Builder or Extreme viscosities! You can learn more about the Lexy Line and which gel is best for who here: www.lightelegance.com/blogs/news/the-difference-between-all-of-the-lexy-line-gels-hema-free-hard-builder-gels-from-light-elegance

hello! I just got Mani-cure gel. I've played with it on a form and it is super flexible. is it removable? does it need Vita-prime & or Tack?
@LightEleganceHQ
@LightEleganceHQ 5 лет назад
Hi Jo, Mani-Cure gel is our most flexible gel. It is great for Natural nail overlays. Yes, you will need to apply a bonding agent under the Mani-Cure gel. All of our Lexy line gels are hard gels, and will need to be filed of to be removed. Please call us if you have any other questions or concerns 1-541-979-8127

So the manicure gel is the most flexible one, but not good for extending the natural nail? Which gel would you recommend for someone who has weak nails, and therefore needs a flexible gel, but also wants a bit of length? Thanks!
@darcyolin
@darcyolin 3 года назад
Correct, Manicure gel is great for natural nail overlays only. It is a good way to be able to use the hard gel colors, glitters and buttercream on a natural nail and for making P+ wear even longer. If you want to extend nails that tend to be weak and flexible, I suggest using Extreme Gel. It is strong and still has a bit of flex to it, to move with the natural nail too. I hope this helps.

@darcyolin

Hi @@InspectorPink Yes, Extreme Gels are very strong and do have more flex than 1-step gels.

@LightEleganceHQ

Hi Rawreen, Cool Gel is self-leveling so you will have to move quick to build with it. That being said, we do not recommend building with Cool Gel, but you could if you wanted to. Hope this helps!

Loved your video just the info I'm looking for., I'm in Toronto & its so limited for nail products that 90 percent of my products are ordered from the US unfortunately if you just want to try one product you end up spending more in shipping than the item. I sent you a DM to LE hq on Instagram regarding something you talked about in the video and would really appreciate a response. Thank you :)

Do i need to use primer and base gel before applying these?
@darcyolin
@darcyolin Год назад
Hi Bela, We do recommend using our bonding agent Tack, with the Lexy Line Gels and you can also apply a primer before Tack, if you feel the client needs it. There is no need for a base gel, as long Tack has been applied and cured before the gel is applied. I hope this helps.
