@@frankleone4502 Yes, I'm in...even though we'll lose to icky Boston in the first round. I'm a Canadian and American duel citizen, born in Toronto living in the States. I love both countries, but I hate...HATE...Boston! Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots...you all suck. ESPECIALLY THE BRUINS!!!!!!
Thank you Steve. You embody all of leafs nations frustrations, day in day out and it makes me feel a little better about shitting the bed to an injury decimated team that also happens to be the Bruins.
Oh man, as a bruins fan, waking up the morning after a bruins win against Toronto is like Christmas morning and waiting for the LFR is like waiting for my parents to get up so I can relish in the joy
Blaze Ottawa chill out man, I’m literally a leafs fan (as well as a bruins fan). It’s all jokes. No need to go tell someone you hope their family dies lmao have a good one my guy
This is one of the better LFR’s I’ve watched. Not even a Leafs fan but I feel like I’ve become a Leafs fan by proxy just from casually watching these videos over the years. I like the style of transition game that the Leafs play now, they are so much fun to watch. And post loss Steve is more endearing somehow even though he is blowing over like Mt. Vesuvius.
Well. "Patter the Bruins fan" will love this video. Heck, anyone else who is a Bruins fan that does game reactions would love this video. Thanks Steve.
The entire success of this team can't rest on Anderson bailing them out every night. His reaction is perfect for a 2nd loss in a row where most of the team looked like they could have all been playing in the OHL and losing.
Yea, we'll dominate, be 2nd in division and 2nd in the NHL...then lose to Boston (yuck) in the 1st round. And yet, I'm still in...despite my pessimism. Go Leafs Go!
Still don't have faith in Andersen that he can lead this team deep into a playoff run. I don't blame Andersen completely for the loss, but it sucks to see the team struggle and Andersen often isn't able to bail them out.
@@UzumakiNaruto_ I...sort of...agree. Andersen isn't a Roy or Brodeur, but more of a Grant Fuhr ('80s Edmonton goalie). I think Andersen is solid enough to backstop a team to a cup or two (or more), IF the team in front of him plays well. He's just not amazing enough to single handedly win it...like Roy was. Andersen is an 8 out of 10.
Omfg!😂😂😂😂😂🔫💀 I love the Leafs and was pretty upset they didn't show up, but if this is the video we get when they're blown out, then I'll take a few beat downs. This was my favorite video of yours since the Nashville destruction.
straight up beer league defence from Zaitsev and Gardiner. They especially break down against good teams. Don’t know how management can’t see this when it’s right in front of their face.
So yea, at least one Leafs player is playing well. We should be a dominant team, instead we're looking more like Edmonton. The Oilers win if McDavid dominates. The Leafs win if Matthews dominates. I love Matthews, but the Leafs SHOULD BE MORE LIKE TAMPA BAY!!!!!
@@crusader0074 Leafs did pretty well with Matthews out for 14 games. This is just a mini slump for the Leafs, they will bounce back and smash the Bruins at home next month. Go Leafs Go!!!
@@themethodicalshow Frustration and pessimism, my friend, frustration and pessimism is what that was. As a Leafs fan I hope you're right. Its just...I HATE THE BRUINS!!!
As a Bruins fan. I live for these videos. Also for clarification, theres nothing wrong with the Wagner hit on Reilly. Clean open ice hits do still exist.
Well Steve I think with your expectations starting to build you have a good idea of how Caps fans felt for a long time. I hope the Leafs don’t have multiple playoff failures leading many to question if it will ever happen. That was more hell than you are feeling now by a long way and god damn was that cup run just perfect to put lots of things to rest.
You just don't get good then automatically win the cup. Its trial and error every year. Just like the Caps. Even the Pens and before 2010 the Hawks. Its trial and error. Now the Bolts and Preds are in that Trial and error stage. Soon both teams to be champions. Trial and error.
Pretty sure people dont mean Nylanders play is the cause. Its the chemistry disruption. it will change. Almost like the team is in training camp again. Nylander is fine and will be fine.
Avs got fed their lunch too. Guess we're in the same boat after dismal efforts by both our teams. Oh well. We'll bounce back. We'll come back angry. Avs and Leafs will, I mean.
Penguins fan here and man Steve is hilarious. I can also say that some of the feelings expressed by Steve in this video has been shared by me in parts this season.
This is a great one Steve and I felt every bit of pain you showed throughout this video. I actually can’t watch those games anymore or I’m gonna give my self a heart attack.
