If/ When my beloved B's get eliminated from the chase for Lord Stanley's Cup this year, I am wholeheartedly rooting for the Leafs specifically for your blood pressure's sake and for the ultimate victory puppies.
I believe my team the Leafs can win the stanley cup this year, and I believe in them wholeheartedly that if they play as team to their best ability and give every inch and more that they've got that they will. However, it's toxic and negative energy to talk against your team, it's abit cringy to see a Bruins or any fan of a playoff/cup contending saying if/when they lose. It's like, where's your belief and confidence in your teams ability?

@@joer8854 you can be realistic, every team that makes the playoffs can win it. I'd honestly say atleast this year the Bruins are one of my favorites to win it. Including the Leafs, Tampa, Nashville Jets Sharks and Blues. (I wanted to say Calgary but I'm unsure about their Goaltending come playoff time) It's just about believing in your teams ability and that they can win and not being pessimistic about them, not necessarily means that you award the team the Cup rn in your head.

Avs have had a few losses like that. Where they don’t show up for the first period and then come storming back, only to lose by one goal. These kinds of losses are the most infuriating ones a team can lose, because you can’t help but wonder “WHERE WAS THAT EFFORT IN THE FIRST AND SECOND PERIODS?!”
I went on a Disney Cruise in November 2018, and met a Toronto Maple Leafs fan ( as evidenced by his Maple leaf swim trunks) and talked about the Nylander deal as we lounged in the perfect Bahamian water. I explained that the Leafs were my second favorite team, as my first is the Tampa Bay Lighting. He was shocked that I could love more than one team, because that is how into the Maple Leafs people in Toronto are. He was so happy that they were finally doing well. They are still doing well- this is just a blimp on the radar due to the flu.

I’m a Hawks fan. Really enjoyed this. I thought Colin Delia did a nice job in relief. 2 goals were arguably not his fault. The first one he just couldn’t make the save. Period. The Tavares goal was just Tavares somehow finishing the tiny hole in Delia’s coverage. The Reilly goal was all his fault. I really like his play in the last minute of the game. He showed me personally that he can survive a onslaught. Anyways GG and Good luck!! 🍀 St.Pats day is coming...

The Leafs are having some of the same growing pains that the Lightning have had over the past few years. Incredibly talented, deep, but I think still learning how to bring that skill to the game consistently, night after night, and also learning to adjust to different strategies attempting to shut them down.
Like I tell my wife the team I cheer for doesn't have the star power like the leafs how ever the San Jose Sharks will at least make the second round of the playoffs how ever the leafs will not. Love your videos and look forward to meeting you in Oshawa

Watching this video as a Jets fan all I had to do was substitute Jets every time you said Leafs and I realize we are living the same fan experience right now. We are number one in our division only because everyone is sucking just a little bit more than us. I watched this game last night and i thought where the hell was that team in the first two periods. This should have been Blackhawks 1 Leafs 9. So frustrating when that much talent fails to show up. Hang in there. You are not alone in your pain. I have a sneaking suspicion that when i look east I see the next 50+ years of the Jets.
its soooo damn close which is the most frustrating part. Like you know and you can feel that the window is there, and with or without some tweaks we can reach it and claim the cup! I think were so scared of blowing this window of whatever years lol and finding ourselves back a rock bottom. Got to get over that hump boys!

IN. ?" - This should start to be asked to the team, because the fans are clearly in, they fill the Arena every night, they tune in to the game in their homes, support them on the road to the point of sometimes even outshine the home team. But the team seems not to care. Canucks game, Oilers game, Bolts and Blackhawks, they just didn't want to be bothered (with the exception of a few moments of brilliancy).
You don't even realize how fortunate you are that you can walk into some random store and have the hockey game on.... You lucky son of a gun! I don't even have a team to cheer for (yet). Must be bloody nice.... With love from Seattle.

I never had a job where I could show up for work 2 hours late...do a crappy job...and at the end of a couple years get a HUGE raise. This looks more and more like a true Leaf team every day.
Honestly 6:28 it’ll be the Columbus Blue Jackets that’ll give up on them selves if they loose early or don’t make it especially if they go against Tampa (huge chance they’ll get swept) and loose all of their UFAs (besides Dzyngel)!but I won’t give up on them and if I haven’t given up on the Blackhawks(it was close this year but look what happened in the middle of the season)
I think one of the Leafs biggest problems is that they need to score a grimey goal first. Seriously just one... ONE goal, and they turn into demons. But instead they try to get overly fancy and end up losing 40 minutes before they get desperate. Start desperate, start hungry. Your skill takes over from there.

It was a mixture of the Leafs finding their legs and Chicago sitting back. Had the Leafs tied it up with ten to go, you would have seen Chicago step it up a notch.
I'm a Caps fan but I like watching all the games. Looking at this one, it seemed that overall, it was less 'Hawks win' and more 'Leafs lose.' If you only judge both teams at their very best's tonight, Leafs win easy. Like, you'd think a gunman would beat a bowman... But tonight the gun was jammed until 40min

I don't remember anyone complaining about the playoff format when the metro was stacked and the team the most screwed over was Columbus, having to get through Pittsburgh and Washington who were both top 3 overall. Columbus themselves were in the top 5. Playoff format right now is amazing, the rivalries that are created are epic.
Well, as a Hawks fan, I was waiting for a "Hawks fans if I were you..." and am quite disappointed to see that there is none. But quite enjoyed the win tonight! How many times in the last few seasons the Hawks have been the better team and still lost? A lot, so I don't feel too bad for you 😂
