Thank you. Also, point well taken regarding the refresh rate (though when I said "higher" I meant more in relation to 5k output capabilities). I hope you stick around for more future videos to come (and don't forget to subscribe, if you haven't already)! -Aaron
hey aaron, nice monitor! i have an lg monitor and a 2017 MacBook pro as well and i'm a fan of the mobile docking workstation kind of thing. do you think that you'll need to add an eGpu to your setup in the future when your discrete laptop gpu falls behind? thanks for the content, keep up the creation.
1) I don't think I'll be requiring an eGPU. 2) The monitor's been good so far, thanks for asking. Thanks for watching, and if you haven’t already, don’t forget to subscribe!
Great video. Probably about to buy 2 myself. Can you post a video of removing the stand or talk about how easy it is? Does it feel like it wouldn't last if you needed to do that often?
Hi Doug, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I found the stand easy to assemble, though I've left the display-stand assembly in one piece. Removing the display from the stand is not difficult. I don't know why you'd want to frequently detach and reattach the display, but I wouldn't advise it. Hope that helps! For more tech content, don’t forget to subscribe (if you haven’t already)! -Aaron
I have a 2019 16" Macbook Pro that gets really hot and the fans start spinning pretty fast while my MBP is open (not clamshell). Do you think this monitor will solve the issue if I use a C port to display port cable instead of the HDMI port I'm using right now?
Sir can you tell me please when you don't have hdr set to on in windows and you play a hdr 10 video on youtube or a movie in hdr 10 does in tge right corner appear the hdr sign vith hdr vivid cinema standard ?
Thanks for your interest. I probably won't be making a dedicated video review for it, though it is featured in my desk tour video, which I encourage you to check out at the following link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0vXCuQlnHDs.html . I enjoy using it, but beyond that, I don't have much to add. Best, Aaron
The monitor doesn’t have any USB ports that I’m aware of, which is one of my primary motivations for obtaining a quality docking station. Don’t forget to subscribe (if you haven’t already) for more tech content! -Aaron
Thanks for the question. The refresh rate is 60Hz and the response time (GTG) is 5 ms. I don’t really play video games, so I can’t speak from experience as to how it would handle them.
