Thank you so much for the video! I did as you said and changed the input icon to PC. I think this solved the issue I had of constant screen flickering when I plugged my PC into the back, 4K 120Hz port. Also my video card is now recognizing 10 bit color in the Nvidia Control Panel. Can't believe such a small but hugely important setting is not more highlighted in the TV's UI. Most ppl wouldn't know about it.

I’ve played around with the video range setting and I have concluded that having my PS5 set to auto and the TV set to limited gives the best pictures. Blacks are truly black and looks awesome. And this doesn’t crush blacks or diminish the picture. It just gives you a lot better blacks. If you set the console to auto and the TV video range to auto, you will find that blacks are washed out. Like all things, it depends on your preference but I highly recommend the above. At least try it for yourself - you can always switch it back 👍🏼

Keep it at auto. What you are seeing is the full range of the black spectrum, which includes the lighter greys. Limited is doing exactly that - limiting your spectrum range (which may be better for the SWITCH). Instead of toggling video range, use the dark area slider or the black tone slider in the Brightness menu. Also, like it was suggested in the video, you play with the stabilizer sliders in the dashboard settings. The recommended sliders only affect the darker areas if the color spectrum. The dark area slider in the dashboard has a more fine tuned effect than the other more coarser adjustments. Perhaps after all these months you have figured out something better for yourself (or moved on to a newer TV model).

When I use PC mode the game optimizer does not come up when I press the Cog / Settings button. Was this changed for the newer models or updated?

Does changing to the boost input lag in game optimizer take away anything significant by using this option? Also is color temperature set to zero instead of warm 50 or close to that,change what the game is intended to look like? By the way great video! Appreciate the insight on the many options we now have available with the oled tvs and ps5.

no but boost input delay doesn't work at 120hz just 60hz. it's only 3ms so shouldn't be noticeable anyways

color temp for gaming is all preference but 50 is the most color accurate. might take some time to get use to it

@@sto_yt nope you can look it up yourself if you don't believe me. it's capped at 60hz and will do nothing at 120hz

@@sto_yt boost mode takes 60hz signal and treats it like 120hz to reduce input lag. if you're already using 120hz signal boost mode does nothing

Hello Kephren, My question is, when I select my Aspect Ratio my just scan is greyed out and stand on automatic. This drives me crazy because it almost al the time gives me on the left side s bigger black bar then on the right side. Can you tell me why you can select it and myn is greyed out. I'am also playing on game optimizer. Thnx s Greetings from the Netherlands

doesn't matter pc input or console, it is same response time and input lag.

Why did you have aspect ratio set to original but then in the game optimiser settings have it to 16:9 ? Also why does vrr say OFF next to ‘60’ but you turned it on the settings ?

Are you really sure that changing the input icon to PC will reduce input lag? I believe it's just an icon and nothing else. If I'm wrong, please provide a source.

I thought the same, but it turns out setting it the PC mode enables true RGB 4:4:4 instead of just 4:4:2. I'm not sure of how big of a difference it really makes though, I haven't played around with that yet.

Just picked up an LG C2… everytime I play games on my PlayStation 5 at 120HZ, the TV automatically changes to 1080p instead of 4K and it’s driving me absolutely crazy. Does anyone know ANYTHING to solve this. I just want to be able to play my games at 4K 120HZ. Thank you🙌🏼

Check your video settings and make sure you have 2.1 hdmi cord aswell.

On most PS5 games you can choose in between 4K 30FPS or 1080P/1440P 60FPS. If you want 4K 120HZ you gonna need to buy a good PC rig. Ps5 comes with a HDMI 2.1 cable btw.

@SuperDuperSayan92 It's pretty easy to get 4k 60 fps, but you are right 120, which requires you to dim down to 1080 edit: just realized you said ps5 I don't know anything about ps5 just series x

Go into your console settings and turn on the 120 frames, that's if you have a console

@@719venom If it's set on the console and on the setting for war zone.. Maybe it's the hmdi cable. Cause your tv has it cause the console would have said that the tv doesn't support it
