Thank you very much. I would never have been able to change the usb port without your detailed tutorial🙏 I have also encountered the USB C charging failure caused by humidity alert as many G6 owners have although no humidity or dust or even debris was to be found.

Everything was in point. Except one very important step. Remove the SIM card and tray prior to taking the phone apart. I now have a broken tray (broken piece stuck in it) and the Sim card won't work. But the now my new brick charges wonderfully.....

hey dude thanks for the video... I have a problem.. my g6 charges slow donno why but when plugged in a particular angle carefully it fast charges else not... im tired of this...i tried with new cable n charger also... fault is in phone... so shd i change the usb port then or wt might be the problem? plz reply

Bo Jour, to retire the back cover i m ussing the heat gun with 120 degrees and to heat the flex connector ...less, just a little bit. Also, you have to know that depends of the heat gun...Best regards

@@MovilonePhoneRepair i agree,once the seal ip68 in the phone is open for repair,it cannot and never be waterproof or water resistance.

Wouldn't be waterproof anymore,even if you replace the seal,Only the factory can make it water resistance,their seals are different than the one anyone buys or wherever you take it to get it fix,or if you do ir yourself

Never say the phone is water resistant if you are doing repairs etc. Because if the customer puts the phone in the water like say a hot tub or lake for an hour they will blame you because it is water damaged.
