Thanks for the review. Although most of the information can be found on the official site. It will be much more useful if you can also show the internals. cheers.
Many thanks for the review. Not only was it informative but also clever and funny XD. I hope to see more details in the future but so far you have showed me the one feature I was looking for the most, the inclusion of the matte screen. That was the single factor that kept me from buying last year Gram. Glossy screens are good when using pens over them, like in the Gram 360 version. But I very much prefer a matte screen If I'm doing photography work over prolonged periods of time. Thanks for correcting this LG! Hope to see more details soon. I wish to know if the fans are audible on the energy saving mode.
Can this work well with an eGPU via the Thunderbolt 4 ports, or would the CPU be a bottleneck? I would like to go with this but extend its useful life and use cases by using an eGPU (gaming, heavier video editing, etc)?
Why don't more manufacturers make larger super light laptops for office use/mobility? I love the concept but keep running into sound, microphone over usb/3.5m/Bluetooth making it suck for calls, not my first gram with these issues and occasional bluescreens
Hi. Please show the internals. LG have had a bit weak cooling. Would be interesting to see if they have beefed it up from last year? Just a beefier heatsink would be nice. There are 2 SSD slots btw and ram is soldered for those who are wondering.
Hi There! Had to sub to your channel after this review. Really nice and cool review! May I know if there is really a fingerprint reader included in the 2022 LG Gram release? Been reading some reports online that there is no fingerprint reader built in.
Wa steady, great review! Some funniness in it too. I have been asking LG about AMD and the RTX2050 Gram 17 version, they commented on a possible refresh on the gram models in Q4 2022, so we might be able to expect the 2050 models in late 2022 but no comments made on AMD.
It will be interesting to see if LG will do AMD. There were reports earlier that an AMD version would be coming as early as 2021 last year. But for now, nada. And thanks for watching (I hope you stayed till the very end).
Thanks for the love! We don’t have info on that at the moment. We will ping LG. We don’t normally open up laptops since that’s more for the hardcore crowd. Will update if we hear back!
@@canbuyornot Proud to be your 10th subscriber! That's great, would be interesting to hear if they come back with an answer. Basically, in the UK I'm lucky enough to be able to order the model with the RTX 2050 but the question is whether to go 16GB (if I can upgrade in the future) or 32GB of RAM (if I can't upgrade)...
@@stellameow4642 Thanks, I think it's the same no the 2022 model as well. I've actually chosen to go for the Galaxy Book2 Pro as it was a lot cheaper and I because of the lack of info from LG (they still wouldn't confirm the exact model that came with the RTX in the UK) I'll stick with Samsung instead
There's a 2-in-1 version for both 16-inch and 14-inch but we haven't tested those (and probably won't be). But they come with a LG Stylus Pen that has Wacom support.
