Yes I know it isn't plugged into the netbook here when I show it greyed out... It is greyed out even when it is plugged into the netbook. I'M NOT SILLY. I just didn't show it, so you have to take my word for it.
Older model LG Hdtv not detecting your Pc/Netbook/Laptop? I have the cure....

It looks like we might have the same TV yet somehow for me RGB works a treat. To select an input with this TV a signal does need to be being produced so I can see why it was greyed out when it was unplugged.

Nice hack, but I think you could just select RGB with the TV remote :D

+nexttrex Looked like the software wouldn't allow the selection from the menu that he was using. Maybe you're right though. In any case this way is way cooler if not way more cumbersome. :P
