LG TV, how to connect Bluetooth headphones (2020 LG CX OLED + Apple AirPods Pro)

Hi TG, just a minute ago I found your very clear and explanatory video about how to connect ear-pod pro's to the LG TV. Looking further down the list of Q&A's I can't seem to find an option for connecting 2 ear-pods pro at the same time. My wife & I often prefer to watch and listen to a program individually as the spoken word is not always very clear. I'm very interested to hear if there's any more info on this. Thanks in the meantime. And, love your vids, keep up the good work!

Enjoying the Q90R 55inch Paul. I am just amazed at the picture quality. The best tv i've ever had. Really impressed with viewing angles, deep oled-like blacks with some ajustemnts to settings, and the colour and depth is amazing on games and uhd blu ray. I definitely prefer it over the oled for a number of reasons. First is not having the burn in risk at th back of my mind when playing the same game for weeks, as I do. Second is the HDR highlights have far more pop than the lg oled I had. I sat in the dark tonight watching a film and the bars are jet black with no light bleed at all. There's times when you think its an OLED, so overall, A very happy chappy, and if it wasnt for your channel I wouldn't have gone for this. I never thought I would own one due to the price tag last year, but this is still rated the best LED tv on the market. The 2020 models are a downgrade ive been told. Q090R is outstanding. Actually exceeded my expectations. And thankfully I received a great panel with very little uniformity issues. :) couldn't be happier.

Mate!!!! You absolute Legend! I’ve just got AirPods Pro 2s and they are amazing. But previous to watching this the only way I could get them to connect to the TV (LG C1) was via the LG ThinQ app, which works but as soon as the phone goes to sleep it also shuts down the app and the audio so is effectively useless. This solved the issue and means I can use my AirPods for TV watching 🎉 Thanks ☺️

Got a Thrustmaster T300RS GT Edition, TH8A Shifter, Ferrari SF1000 Add-On Wheel & the Next Level Racing F-GT Lite Cockpit 😃👍🏻 Highly recommend the setup if you're into racing and it's all super portable & easy to pack away (my biggest gripe with the Playseat Evolution) as well as having completely customizable seating position in F1 or GT style! Thanks for the video. Exactly what I needed. One question...I have the TV set up to Hdmi Arc as the audio output, but when I switch out of bluetooth mode, the tv reverts to internal speaker. Is there anyway to get it to revert back to hdmi automatically once I turned off my Bluetooth headset?

Hey TG! Thanks for all of your great videos. They helped me buy a new LG 77 OLED CX a year ago. I have a problem right now. I am trying to hookup an small amp to power 2 Bass Shakers(transducers). I tried using the Subwoofer output, but found out that would not work from an Audio Engineer at a local store. My AVR has no more audio outputs except a headphone jack. So, I found the Audio Out HP port in the back for headphones. And that works great!!! Except when I use it my eARC audio connection from the TV is muted. So, I was trying to find a way to have the TV Audio send HDMI eARC & Wired Headphones at the same time, without muting anything. Is this possible? I also have a simple Bluetooth receiver with a jack that I can plug into. But that would also mute the eARC I believe.

Does this work if you have your TV connected to a surround system? I always thought of I paired my AirPods, I’d need to keep switching audio output in the settings to use surround sound again. This’ll be great for playing PS4 at night as live in a bungalow

Thx to this video I just connected my Bose 700NC headphone. It sounds just marvelous! Do you know how to go back to optical out instead of internal tv-speaker? I have a soundbar connected through optical..

Do you know what can be issue. Redmi buds 3 pro and lg oled 55b9. Pairing work fine and no issue on phone or tablet. When connected to tv every time when I use remote controler from tv the one provided by lg that is bluetooth one, its switch sound from earbuds after 10sec of not using it and I have tap earbuds to lunch sound. Its seems than this is the moment when remote controler is going to sleep mode. When I Wake up earphone its work without issue until i use remote controler again. With remote controler through android phone theres no issue.

How do you do this with a soundbar connected via earc? My Bluetooth headphones connected no problem but since I plugged in a soundbar everytime I go to connect via Bluetooth it just reverts back to soundbar and won’t play through Bluetooth headphones?

thanks for the vid, i have a sonos beam connected to my LG 55B8OLED TV. I have paired my Airpods to the tv but the sound always reverts to the Sonos Beam. Do you have a soundbar connected and do the Airpods still work with it? Love the TV, love the Airpods but they don't seem love one another😣
