This is still in my search for real power. Real power would come in the form of a motor that can do good horse power, and generate good amps and volts. Also want to pump water, so good horse power. The input must not shoot a battery off the shelf in 5 minutes. To achieve this I tried out these LG washingmachine motors. And so far after months of playing around I do feel that I am in a good space. I am no expert in this, like most people searching in the dark. I do have some basic understanding of AC and electronics. And a curious mind. Enjoy and do subscribe, it helps. Keep it real out there! Ciao.

Good build,,I use the lg coils on a 4 foot pulse motor. I would recommend a heavy flywheel. It will run smoother. Hope to see more soon..

Thank you Make. Yeh that should be nice to see with flywheel. Isnt the startup torque too much with flywheel? I need to try that! Ill check your channel on how you use the coils as pulse motor. ;)

Fantastic work, Jakes. We are working on something similar. How did you get short dead short amp value? Do you know if your generation coil is al or cu? We are using both and confirm that the cu provides much higher amps. Playing around with different wiring configurations to see what comes out. Keep the momentum going 💪 🇿🇦
@jakesvandermescht694
@jakesvandermescht694 Месяц назад
Thank you Brent! aluminium will never give you the performance as copper does. Cu will give more torque on motor and more amps as pmg. Link two dd together and make one a motor another a pmg. Dead short the pmg side. Keep going you will learn a lot for your own benefit. Thanks for watching. cioa

Nice setup. There are several ways to have a steady RPM but it's not clear how the connentions are made: *3phase generator with a 2phase rectifier? *2 battery chargers in series? *How are the speedcontroller, display, fuse block connected? A simple schematic could help.
@jakesvandermescht694
@jakesvandermescht694 Год назад
Hey Dancer. Thank you. Thanks for comments. I have update on this. So two phases going into three phase rectifier, I now have all three phases going in three phase recitifier. So sorted. I get a little more volts, I get 13+ volts now. I made some progress on amps in, watts in. I now am 40% less watts in than before. Same output! So that is super efficient. Ill make follow up video for you. Speedcontroller connection. The cheap china controller has an connection for a dimmer switch. Simple. Let me know if you have any ideas how to lower input, or up torque, or rpm. I need to get to a point where this generator can give useful power. Or the motor can drive waterpumps super super efficient.
@Dancer148
@Dancer148 Год назад
@@jakesvandermescht694 Glad I could help. Which speedcontroller type did you use? The dimmer can be a potmeter or RotaryEncoder.

On the generator side you can use a 24v alternator so as it would power you more. !!
@jakesvandermescht694
@jakesvandermescht694 8 месяцев назад
Please add more detail. And howto. Do I do the neo conversion on the alternator? Or just like that? I think that the alternator needs way more rpm. I might be wrong? Anyway, thanks for chatting. :)

@@jakesvandermescht694 have you looked at Mantim Lee's feasible study on the Gerards hyperdrive? He is almost correct but his controller design didn't work, it had a few faults and key components left out. I'm hoping I've got it right now, just waiting for the new PCBs to arrive.
