I don’t know if he’s a Jesuit or not, or a wolf. As a matter of fact I don’t worry about who the wolves are because Jesus told me to let the wheat and the tares grow together. If that man is doing something behind closed doors that he shouldn’t be doing, then that’s between him and God. I stand with him on the word of God that he spoke of, not all that other stuff people are claiming about him. What I do know is this- when we start loving others as God wants us to, it will look evil to those who are not on God side. Even Jesus was being looked down upon by people because He (Jesus) was hanging around sinners. Like Jesus we are to reach a dying world.

What are they comprising? Are LGBT SDA's trying to hold office? If the answer is no, then I believe Wilson needs to preach to all people about sexual sin and not one group. The amount of church people including elders cheating on their spouse, doing vile things with their own wives, abusing children, doing po..n, is probably a number of people we can't even begin to fathom. I personally know a women elder, who was involved in a love triangle with a married man (the youth SS teacher) . She is still an elder. The affair is over (I think) the man moved a crossed the country, (often happens). I have also know conference workers cheating on their wives. So, maybe Wilson doesn't do these things, but his preaching to LGBT, is like the old saying (the pot calling the kettle black.) When my Mom worked at the GC in the 70's she called it "Paten Place," there was so much running around and sleeping with each other, amongst the men and women.

Amen, for those who struggle with homosexual tendencies in spiritual warfare and yet strive to follow Christ, I truly believe they are Christians. God has not said anything about sexual orientation. He talks about rape and abuse and using children, but He does not condemn same gender sexual orientation.
The LORD doesn't condemn someone who is gay or LBTQ. The LORD condemns rape and abuse but does not condemn someone for being born with a gay orientation or any orientation.

An intersex person is biologically born with sex organs of both male and female usually not properly developed. No fault of anyone. We used to use the term hermophradite. May God have mercy. But then again all fornication and adultery is sin. There are many boys and girls who have been tampered with by older relatives or neighbors which cause them to grow up gay or sexually promiscuous. Mary Magdalene according to the Desire of Ages was a victim of such and somewhat out of control until Jesus casted out seven devils out of her. We are reading it superficially without full understanding what is mean in practice. After many years I am starting to understand what exactly he mentioned. And "very hard" to apply without full "crucifying oneself". Most of us (including me) has no full Christ inside. We are half to Christ and half to selfishness. So basically Christ can not change us as He wish (our fault). We are mostly as bridesmaids from wedding with little oil now. But it is not too late, if we finally understand where is the problem :) Jesus is waiting with open arms to do more for us.

Which version and language are you reading from? If it were truly clear, there would be no misunderstanding. But if you study the original language and words carefully, you see that it doesn't mean what you think it means in your modern translation.

It is interesting to see that the gentleman who sent a letter to Pst. Ted Wilson starts by thanking him for reading his letter which he knows he read because Ptr. Wilson made reference LGBTQIA+ in his sermon and then proceeds to criticize him for using the term in a way he feel is improper. If Ptr. Wilson had not used the term, he would have criticized him for that and if Ptr. Wilson had taken out a portion of the identifying term then the same thing would have happened. Listen, at the end of the day, it is what it is. Homosexuality is a sin. Period. End of story. I won't go into a long exposition detailing each one of the groups contained within the identifying reference. The fact that homosexuals are sinners DOES NOT give permission to ANYONE to treat them with lack of respect, hate, anger, etc. Jesus came to die for all sinners. All sinners includes homosexuals. That having been said, homosexuals, as do all other sinners, must abandon their sin if they expect to see the kingdom of God. Will it be easy? I am sure it won't be. It isn't easy for people who are blind, deaf, mute, in a wheelchair, etc. to go through life. Some come to that condition because they were born that way and others came to that condition for other reasons. But the reasons don't change the fact that they have to deal with their lot in life and move on. To think that you can be a practicing homosexual and be saved as a one is a delusion.
I think people who have that desire and lifestyle, should go to a church that will accept them, and where they feel comfortable to practise their lifestyle.

I am horrified and at the same time hopeful since I was a little girl I’ve heard that the enemy was going to put his workers in the church to mislead Gods children but I never thought I would see or hear so proclaimed 7th day Adventist misquote the Bible so much when the 7th day Adventist has always been very careful in the study of the Bible not to misquote or to ad or to take from the Bible for 55 years I have admired the way 7 days Adventist are proud of the fact that not to mislead anyone because the implications that the same Bible says that it would be better to die (more or less) a horrible death than to be lead any one of Gods children to lose his or her soul. Pastor Wilson’s sermon was straight forward, but it was Bible base and true. GOD will not accept these aberrations, because they are amongst us because of sin and sin is the complete opposite of GOD. Any person, who wants to make changes in their lives to come in-line with GOD’S ideal for us, will make the effort and GOD will help them. Being a Christian is not a popularity contest. GOD is very clear in HIS word and HE is not going to except anyone who is not living his life according to HIS will and the BIBLE is very clear. But, the truth is, only those who value their relationship with GOD, will make the effort to reform their lives. However difficult it is to changes, it can be done and has to be done. “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed” (Malachi 3:6).

Ok, so he said he knew he was gay from since he knew himself. So what's the science behind being born gay. Is it that when he was born, the doctors said, here is your healthy new born gay baby?? He's a man, and being gay means that he is attracted to other men, which is against nature, so what's his point again?? That he identifies as gay but he doesn't feel anything for other men and he doesn't have sex with them. Then why identify as an unnatural identity? Good questions: But even if one granted that they were born that way, does that mean it should continue and end that way? Can we not be transformed? I mean If I say I was born with a violent temper as some of us are and could be very cruel and even murderous. Does that mean I am excused from.repenting and attempting to change this behavior because I was born that way? The other big mistake I see being made is the assumption that sin is the ACTION....I think this comes from GENERAL SDA church's failure to appreciate thar the old testament laws were CHANGED in line with Hebrews 7:12 and Jeremiah 31:31-33! SDA member should carefully consider Matthew 5:21, 27, 33, 38, 43-44 and not read only verses 17-19.
@@testallthingsfirst5333 That's the issue right there, he doesn't believe that people can be transformed, so it's like he's creating a safe zone for persons to feel comfortable in staying where they are & continuing in their lifestyle as if to say, God will have to understand. He said he know persons who have tried to changed and never did, and it could very well be a faith issue, but he's essentially declaring that if the Lord hasn't changed them, then they must be accepted as they are under that exception. Yes, and he does try to redefine sin as merely a physical action when the spirit of the Law that was revealed by Christ shows us that we sin by the very thoughts & motives in our hearts without the action.
Where does God say that being gay is against nature? He doesn't. That is your interpretation of words you read. I have been born again and God did transform me from a judgmental Adventist to one that understands the love of God and the message that Christ came to earth to deliver.

He created animals, male and female also, and even them live according to the nature that was given by God. Since when "thus saith the Lord" is being judgmental?? Only because your blind approach to this. I appreciate our President for taking a stand on the truth of what God's word teaches. Any life style outside of what the Bible tells us that God created in the beginning is wrong and sinful. God created one man and one woman to be together as husband and wife. No other arrangement is acceptable in God's sight. Those that choose other life styles are against God. They need to repent and come away from their sinful life and live the way God as told us too in His Bible. Their sin can and will be forgiven if they seek God's forgiveness.
I do not agree with this LGBT person. It is in the thinking and the lifestyle which also means no heaven for them either. God is clear. We must stand strong against anything that pulls Gods bible standards. What example is all this for our young people in our SDA church.

am not a Adventist but I agree with that pastor,God is holy and we have to be holy as he is, if any preaching about sin bring a burning that one is guilt then why fight back the scriptures, the Bible is the only mirror that we can use as the standard as Christians.

I knew that I liked boys at 4 years old. I knew that I was going to grow up and marry a man. I have a male cousin I knew was going to be gay when he was about three. He says he knew he liked boys when he was four or five. How do you say one is not born gay and that it's ALWAYS a choice. If you can be born with deformed body parts, you can be born with a "deformed" sexual preference. Your statement also ignores that there are asexuals out here who have no attraction to anyone.

The challenge of making how you feel your entire identity, God mostly calls us out what we feel and prefer, sin. For both heterosexual and LGBTQI, the call is to live a life as prescribed and empowered by God not how we feel. Many heterosexual feelings and actions are not holy, the same goes for homosexuals. God is the one who prescribes how we should all live.
Pastor Ted Wilson has delivered the message as clearly shown in the Bible: However, truth is bitter sometimes and truth does hurt many times! That message was delivered with the love of the LGBTQIA+ in mind, not out of any hatred for that population of Adventists. We should all pray for our LGBTQIA+ population to give God a chance to help them mend their lifestyle.
There is the very popular New King James Version (NKJV) which Ted is waving around and another "the Bible" you may never have heard of, the Queen James Version (QJV). The QJV is a King James Version (KJV) bible in which only eight verses have been changed in order to remove the doctrine of the sin of homosexual behavior. The editors of the QJV are honest about what they did and why they did it and list all eight verses that were changed. It turns out that just as many verses in the NKJV have been modified that relate to that same doctrine and much more has been changed that denigrates the Spirit of Prophecy, is self contradictory, contradicts Seventh-day Adventist doctrine and even Protestant doctrine. The gay guy who doesn't like what Ted said is using some of the same arguments that are used in the introduction to the QJV and are used by the lesbian Virginia Mollencot who wrote the book Is the Homosexual My Neighbor. I was was in a Seventh-day Adventist church one Sabbath a few years ago in which the pastor said the main sin of Sodom and Gomorrah was in not being kind tto strangers and was equating homosexuality with racism. That was the last sermon I listened to in that church. The ordination of women as ministers (or the more sneaky commissioning) was voted down by the church in session THREE times and yet it still goes on in the North American division and elsewhere. Satan got his foot in the door earlier than that when it was permitted, contrary to the teaching of the real Bible, to ordain women as elders.
We have to distinguish between predisposition and living out a sexual orientation. We all have a predisposition to sin, no matter what kind, but we are called not to sin. That is the message of Pastor Ted Wilson.
We thank God that He gave his servant Pr Ted Wilson being brave to preach such messages loud and clear. I add by saying to those who voice out LGBTQ must humble themselves before God if they believe that He is their creator.

Pastor Lawrence is spot on. Scripture clearly states that anyone who lives a lifestyle contrary to God's original plan can be transformed into the likeness of His Son, Christ Jesus.
