Im still watching little House épisodes when they are reruns in France ans i dont care ! I like this show period .it makes me laugh and it is fresh and full of values.Far from today..
@hexdrill No I'm pretty sure he bought the land. In Harvest of Friends he was talking to Hansen. It looked like they made the deal and he announced they were home. Hansen was one of the founders of Walnut Grove, so maybe he claimed it and sold pieces. I don't know how the claims worked really.
@Miracle490d people sat on the certain acreage of land. they had to work the land for so many years and the land was theirs. I the book, the Ingells lived in town the the winter and moved out to the farm in the summer, they did for a number of years
@XxSadisticWraithxX Great observation!!! The more you hate the character in those moments the better the actor at doing his job. Laura is the sweetest innocent child making friends of anyone; no hidden motives. "You have to pay back more than you borrow." "I was thinking I might loan you a penny." LOL maybe not so innocent, the little business woman.
@spaghettilover100 REALLY!!!! If this guy likes everything cold and impersonal, why didn't he open a bank in a city like Winnoka? That awful business man Standish running the hotel and bar would've been a perfect cold customer. He certainly wouldn't invite him for dinner without strings.
