A German band, with a French name, recording a song in Spanish. I believe that Europe could hardly be more effortlessly united as in this early 80s Electro Classic.
Krishna Goineau was from spain, also their peers, D.A.F's Gabi Delgado was also from spain. i dunno was it easy to imigrate to neighboring countries in 70s 80s europe?
@@alfan0079 if you came for work you had the opportunity. Delgado’s parents came to Germany because his father got a job there, if I remember correctly
Lol, you do not know DAF??? And songs of DAF??? Chrislo Haas was a member of DAF. DAF was on the black list in Germany, cause of "Der Mussolini". So Chrislo Haas just took senseless lyrics for his songs like this in all languages, but never German. So his music couldn't be banned on the black list again^^. That's the reason.
Maybe Gabi Delgado had spanish roots, but in his mind he was obviously a proud German. Proved in DAF. At DAF times we all were Germans, no matter what roots. Nobody cared for any roots, Germans we all were. But the "good" antiracsists and you "European worldpeople" changed thinking into the opposite. And today for me not all living here are Germans. People like you made this world a much worse place.
This song got me into electronic music (italo disco etc) back in '84, in a small town in Jalisco Mexico when I was 8. Ofcourse no radio played it, some guy came from Tijuana Mexico with a tape, we put it in a bigazz deck player with lights all over it... and it was over.
I know were you coming from. Here in the Hague we were one of the biggest italo cities in the eighties. See all the italo performers in the the disco’s here.
What a badass jam!!!! l grew up on the North Side of Chicago in the late 70 s and early 80s hearing to these awsome. Brought back some incredible memories!!!!!!
Uuuuuuuuuuu. Ya ni pedo, ya empese mi desmadre.
@@lilithag3255 acabo de encontrar el tema LOVE IN THE SHADOWS de E.G. Daily y. Boogie Walk. de Susan Stevens Bust Your Body de Gail Robinson, TANZEN SONIC - CIRCLE Y mi FAVORITO: SUBSONIC FORCE Plasticmen Y va a 100Watts por canal. Pura pinche musica para viejitos.
When I first listened this track I was like 11 or 12 years old. It kinda scared me, the sound was so dark! Something never heard of in Argentina, changed my music taste forever.
@@SaschaRahn-s8h Prácticamente estos chicos Punks, Rockeros, Progressive, Krautrock's estan haciendo HI-NRG, Synthpop, Electro (EDM Concreto / Giorgio Moroder, Dan Lacksman, YMO...entre otros). A esta oleada le llamaron "ebm".
Mr. Bloodvessel Trax Records became popular once Jesse Saunders from Chicago made his own song called ON AND ON. After that all the dj’s start making their own records and the went to Trax to get them pressed
Love the raw emotion just as if no one else watching them and they are just doing whatever and moving however the pulsating groove dictates. Liaisons Dangereuses is proof that groove and soul is an unspoken worldwide language. Awesome. Thanks for posting....
Thanks a lot Flesh!!!!!!!
The bassline is awesome, I love his Spanish pronunciation, "Los niños y las niñas, van andando juntos, fuman cigarrillos y juegan con bombas", this is fantastic.
One of my friends was friends with Chrislo and said that he was focused on making ONE album that would be played forever. I think Chrislo accomplished that. RIP.
He was the Jimi Hendrix of the Korg MS-20 synthesizer. Rest in peace, wherever you are.
I thought the title meant "Because of the Children"---my bad. I'm old enough to recall when you could only hear music like this in the dance clubs, or late at night on pop stations, and remixed versions of those same songs on R&B stations on weekends! Now that's some real old-school dance music for you right there!
I forgot to say you'd only hear this stuff on college stations late at night---it they played this stuff at all! Now you can hear this on pop stations all day long--go figure! What comes around goes around for sure!
They were pioneers of techno - at that time there were lots of interesting bands going in this direction. However, nowadays techno is mostly one-dimensional and boring.
+pikachu This was before Front coined the term. It could be considered EBM, proto house, electropunk all at the same time.... I would go with proto EBM/House or Electro Industrial.
Classic electro from the early 1980s. Back then guaranteed to set the dance floor of your local club on fire. Having "been there-done that" this video brings some pleasant memories back to life, but I get it when younger people who hear this for the first time don't understand why it caused such a stir back then. Still love the bassline though....
