The Liberace home/museum today in Las Vegas, Nevada is a reminder of just what kind of person Liberace was. A normal neighborhood serving two purposes: First, to be located just a short drive to his performing venue of the Hilton and secondly because Liberace was, as he, himself said, liked to be among the people. He would often go to small garage sales both in Las Vegas and other places he would visit, he stated in one interview. I always respected and liked Liberace. He was a Homosexual but kept his private life to himself and never tried to push that lifestyle on others. He was a humble man of the people and did some good things with his life.

Thank you for posting and sharing your visit to The Liberace home. I just watched some videos of his home and life, and I was sad to see his beautiful home deteriorating. This video was wonderful to see, that the property has been restored :) Thank you again

This is great I been too Liberace home,it was amazing ,I slept in my Lincoln Towncar,a cross the street from the mansion,I wish I had a home so close by,thanks for sharing.

Remember in 1962 the Neighborhood Was more decent and homes were new at the time that year most homes were built in 1962... his home was built and designed Ahead of its time. ..

Liberace's house was so stylized, in his own taste, and built the way he wanted. It reminded me of a banquet hall, it had so much tile all over the place. I don't know who else would want that, for a residence. You'd think he would want to get away from his commercial/entertainment life when he went home, but Liberace embraced it at home too.

I took my 3 yr old daughter to his house for trick or treat and she received a marvelous European Chocolate candy bar and an autographed picture of himself.
