Davey claims that many liberal MPs will not support a deal with other parties. Where are the many liberal MPs ????.

The official Liberal Democrat position (endorsed in a Spring conference) on moving away from Brexit is to be back in the Single Market via successive stages that develop cooperation and collaboration in business, trade, the environment and international relationships thereby rebuilding confidence with the EU. The policy stops short of proposing that a return to the Single Market is by joining the EU, it keeps open other possibilities such as EFTA or a new comprehensive agreement. Ed Davey should be much more straightforward in his answers. I can see why with Labour so far ahead in polls and saying clearly that they will not form an alliance with any other party that Ed Davey does not want to say he would engage in a deal with Labour, even so he could give a better answer; in fact he could say 'with Labour clearly stating that any question of such a deal is off the table this is a non question, nonetheless both us and Labour are committed to removing the Conservatives from office; it is not a deal, but in this respect there is a common agenda'.

Well, obviously if Labour don't win an overall majority then Ed Davey, who totally hates the Tories, will have to make some sort of deal to allow Labour to govern. 100% certain it won't be a formal coalition, though. And the other thing, of course, is whatever happens we don't want the SNP to hold the balance of power!
