I wish football as a whole would go back to 3 back offenses like wishbone, t-formation, stack I. More fun to watch.

that was amazing to watch. It's insane to see two teams running slot t at the high school level. When I was a sophomore, we played this team that ran slot t and by far they were one of the best teams I've ever seen they ended up winning state. but even this team did not run a slot t as efficient as both of these schools. Very well played by both teams and very talented

@@decline1129 I think it’s great coaching.It’s also a really good playbook some passing plays to throw Off the defense and mostly runs that drive down the field.it’s also been dominant for them it the past couple years

Thanks for the kind words! Athletes from this level generally don't play at the next level (DI anyway), unless they are truly exceptional. (Blake Simpson at Texas State comes to mind.) Liberty Hill fans can correct me, but I believe they take a 'top down' approach to their offense system. Basically they run the Slot-T offense from middle school (maybe earlier?), till High School. It's a very effective system if you have the right personnel. When they do, they go DEEP in the playoffs, due in part to opposing defenses only having a week to prepare for something they've never defended.

Both the schools are so similar even though it’s the same division. Same colors, same slot-T, fight song, etc

It's the slot-t offense. Pretty rare to see 2 teams run it against each other.

@@TexasToneit’s actually pretty coo to see this offense still being used 20+ yrs later . While coaching at San Marcos in 1999-2000 when coach walker was there coaching 8th grade and high school under coach Bruce Bush I think he ended up taking the slot t with him to liberty hill. And as for marble falls if I’m not mistaken the head coach there use to coach with les goad at Lockhart who also coached at San Marcos during the early 2000s but I see they use quick count on almost every play
