USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000) is a guided missile destroyer of the United States Navy. She is the lead ship of the Zumwalt class. Zumwalt has stealth capabilities, having a radar cross-section akin to a fishing boat despite her large size. It is designed as multi-mission ship with a focus on land attack.
Video includes shots of the ship at pier, ship's bridge, living quarters, barber shop, gym, galley, bathroom, general life onboard, and launching of a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB), and other shipboard activities.

difference between Army, Air Force and Navy when at War.. Army.. only soldier go to front line, officer at behind give order. Air Force.. only officer fly the plane and fight in the sky, other rank crew stay behind for maintenance. Navy.. Navy officer and Sailor boarding a same ship go to war together.. :)

The zumwalt was @ BEA SYSTEMS in San Diego 2017 for repairs, too new for repairs! Im a ship fitter and i worked on this ship, i even went to the gym room to workout while working lol!

I spent a few years working on this ship @Bath Iron Works (BIW) in Bath Maine. As far as repairs go, this is all electric 4170 volts, it is a completely new design to the ship builders as well as the Navy so yes there are going to be some things that need to be tweaked, adjusted or re designed.

At the very least, I would love to spend an entire day touring this ship. I keep wondering if there are crew/officer elevators from the main deck to the very top of the inordinately tall superstructure. As far as surface warships, she is like absolutely nothing any of us have ever seen or served on.

Looks like a lot of thought went into crew habitability and comfort when they designed and built this baby. It's still got that new ship smell about it, probably. Must be a lot of ladders and steps to get to the very top of her superstructure. If I was much younger, I wouldn't mind doing a stint on this ship, just to see how she differs from when I was in the Navy almost 50 years ago, right out og High School. I wanted to get my military obligation behind me as soon as possible. Never regretted it.
