Congratulations on the new baby From one retired vet to another, thanks for your service. I have no doubt you will succeed I retired in 99 and it was a joke and now going through process of claiming things through VA again. I hear it’s gotten better. I had to rely on photocopies and that’s another story. You hit some great points for those wanting to get out. PLAN N BACKIP PLAN. I was fortunate to do 4 months TAD before getting out and saved per diem, paid off debts and then tried to find a job. 20 years of steady paycheck and never an interview, and it’s a big adjustment. Fortunately, I self taught my way in the IT world and my time TAD helped start me in the DoD where I hope to retire next year or depending on how my VA resubmittal goes. Best of wishes to your family and wishing ya all love, health and prosperity. Thanks again for your time answering questions in your channel. I’m glad I found it. Alan. EA1(USN, Ret).
I was told the same thing from TAPS about the healthcare after 6 months, was very upset when I called the VA and they said that's not the case. Been out for 4 months now from the Air Force. keep up the vids bro
I'm happy to hear that it worked out for you. My plan did not work out as I expected (like almost everything in life), no surprise there. When I got out of the Navy earlier this year I put my family on Medicaid. I wished I followed your advice on getting food stamps (form your previous video) earlier. I've been doing real estate. I'm 50% disabled but currently working to get a higher % rate with the VA. But it def tough first year out, at least for me. However, I am graduating in Health Service Administration and I've been applying for a Federal job so hopefully I strike. Keep pushing forward.
How can we reach via email? Girl dad as well looking to make the step by joining reserve (preference is LS) but I would love t get your opinion on a bunch of questions. I’ll still reach out to recruiter but I prefer to have opinions outside of just a recruiter as well.
Imma cs now was thinking same route if i get out soon. To become a firefighter after navy all you have to do is just apply to become a firefighter then they send you to a year school or what steps do you take to get their??
Bro I'm a CS2 bout to get out in 2 years man , really want to connect man , cause these folks really act like the navy is all good , bro not going about out to sea for another 5 years . That's dead . Ima go get my CDL and retire I'm the reserves
Im leaving for navy on june 13th . My job is CS my contract is 5 year . My plan is to go school while im in navy. Want give me mom and siblings better life . Want get in out this videos really inform me what to do once dont renlisted.
@@theofficialdaveharris8794 Dang bro im 30 now, thinking about going in, got my bachelors already. How difficult is it to go in for officer route, do you know? is it worth going in at 30 , maybe doing 8 years? Will the navy allow this?
@@Demonichellfighter yes you can definitely join at 30. With a bachelors degree there is no doubt why you can’t become a office. If I were you I would hit up a local recruiter and see what’s the qualifications. I know for a fact that a bachelors degree is one of them.
You better watch out for those VA IG. You claim 20% for shoulders which means you can't lift ur arm up for more than 90degrees. If they catch you lifting them ladders up easily they will press charges. 50% migraine means severe economic impact. How are u suppoed to be on call if you have debilitating migraines 4-5 times a month, you just gonna sit around when there is a fire because you have migraines? If you have TBI which limits ur mental capacity how are you suppoed to think on your foot in the midst of a fire? You better think twice before you pull them over times to make money cause IG is gonna see your worklog and see this guy is able to perform all duties of a fire fighter and on top of that pulling over time while claiming migraines and tbi and shoulders. Better watch your back.
@@wishsuccess5995 Im a landlord , thanks to my gma for giving me a duplex to rent out . An I get a Gi bill by taking certain credits . Fuck I look like being on a boat for 8 months
I’m calling cap. Claim you had severe migraines which give you 50% and TBI and want to be a firefighter??? You can’t be serious. Sounds like a fraud claim was submitted.
