So informative and real! I’m a dental student and it’s so nice to be able to hear you guys talk about life outside dental school in an honest manner. Makes me even more motivated to study hard. (Also you are the cutest couple ever!!)

thank you so much for this video -great content, but great production too. Im a fourth year canadian dental student and this is exactly what I wanted to hear lol. Just a follow up on this video.. I actually agree so much with Dani- I find problem solving/ determining diagnosis the most difficult. Do you have any advice/ tips on diagnosis and treatment planning process? any feedback is great appreciated!. Future video suggestions: Do you have tips for preparing for the Canadian boards? Tips for newly grad dentists on patient management, actual clinical skills, etc. Thank you!

What major would you recommend for undergrad pre-dental students? I do want to own a practice one day, and I wonder if economics or finance would be a good major to add to human health.
@jmey
@jmey 3 года назад
honestly, as long as you have the prereqs done it doesn't matter what major you do. Go after something that interests you and you'll be more motivated with your coursework

Do dentists get to choose what work they want to do , like you guys said avoiding prosdontics because you dont like it
@jmey

you bet. Dentists can choose to only do what they want to do, and are under no obligation (and shouldn't) do anything they aren't comfortable with (or don't like)

Private practice dentistry is about selling. Your clinical skill is not as important as long as you can get by.
@jmey
@jmey 3 года назад
agree with elements of this

Selling has no place in dentistry..... 24 yrs in profession and never have I used sales tactics!
@ronyeahright9536
@ronyeahright9536 Год назад
@@josephwhite6817 agreed......32 years in practice and i bristle whenever I hear some practice management guru preach about "selling". Bullshit. Do what you're supposed to do, and the money will take care of itself.
