Great video. What a great life, getting paid to travel around the world. I suffer from sea sicknes a lot. Do you or any of crew suffer from it? And how do you combat it?
@@MarinerMahbub 👍 yes Before and after using all the navigational equipment The most vital equipment onboard is your eyes out windows for two reasons No mater how redundant the systems are, there is always the possibility of equipment failure So a good consistent visual scan 👁👁 of the horizon is the most important instrument on board But what I really meant was more for personal pleasure In other words Some times you just need to stop and enjoy the view 🌞 🌊⛵🌊🏝🌊🚢🌊🏝🌊 Great video my friend
Hi there, glad to know there is an exclusive prayer room on board. *I'm keen to know how you find the direction of Quibla on board.* Please make a video on _"How to find Quibla on board a ship."_ Explain with instances of ship being at two to three different locations in the world. Thank you, Bon Voyage!
Well, thats a great question. Our Quibla direction towards Macca, so its very easy to find for the OOW on ECDIS that, whats the bearing of Macca right now. But thing is that, frequently vessel used to changes her heading, so whenever anybody wants to say prayer, he just call bridge and ask about Quibla Direction. Very easy to find onboard ship. Thanks for watching my videos. Take care 😊
Cause normally on Tanker Vessel sufficient Mineral water provided for drinking. And Fresh water we only use for cooking purposes and in washcabins. Thanks for watching the video and good to see your keen interest on maritime industry. Keep watching.
Highly appreciate your nice comment and thanks for watching. Total number of crew depend upon size of the ship. As our lifeboat capacity is limited, so that we cant go beyond that. In average 18-30 crew usually onboard a ship. And hopefully very soon i will make videos to those individual equipments. Keep watching. 🤗
Sir. In a condition where the c/o watch starts by 4 am and he is sleeping. How will he wake up. Will he set an alarm or the watchkeeeping officer will wake him up
Thats a good question. As we keep 24 hrs bridge watch keeping at sea and anchorage. So dont worry about that, if chief officer become late on duty. Second Officer can call either earlier or after 4'o clock. And normally we always set alarm on our phone, but if sometimes can't wake up on time, other on duty guys used to call on our cabin as almost each n every cabin have fixed telephone. and not all the time chief officer have 4-8 watch. Now a days in most of the company chief officer dont have any watch at all, as he have lots of other things to do in daytime. So that additional third officer or Junior Officer keeps 4-8 watch.
