My brother and I have been fans of Darrell McCall for years. I personally have never met Darrell, but my brother has met him, at some of those Beefmaster cattle sales, and my brother told me not only is Darrell & his beautiful wife Mona great singers, but are two of the nicest people in the state of 🇨🇱Texas🇨🇱

Our band “Heartland”played the Cotton Club back in 2000. Really enjoyed that venue. One of my friends,Lou Rochelle wrote a song that Darrell cut. “There’s Still A lot of Love in SanAntone”. I miss Lou. I used to go to his house with my acoustic and he’d play steel with me. Lou played very very well.He’s in the Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. I was at the Dallas steel show when he was inducted. His son Larry is a very good drummer and vocalist. I ran into Darrell and Charlie Walker behind Tootsies the night I moved to Nville. Super nice man and awesome vocalist.

Oh I love Darrell McCall music. Know Larry Patton Ron Knut. My Ex played with them and Hank jr. Went to San Antonio loved his music. Met a lot more musicians.
