Just found your videos. I’m currently 283 lbs, 61 years old, pre-diabetic. Doctor wants me to start Ozempic but that’s a life of injections and side affects. No thanks. I’m starting the carnivore diet this weekend. I’m giving you a follow. You’re an inspiration.
Keep me updated! Darn sure dont get on some pills or injections when this is a natural way to lose.Go watch video I put up today and read the comments, some of the stories are awesome!
Mike you do not have a garden for the same reason why my friend Kendra "not the same Kendra helping paws". All he and his wife Carolyn eat is mostly Chicken. From their own Chickens that they raise. The live off grid in a mobile home they rebuilt completely off grid. They also live debt free.
I’ve been doing carnivore for 14 months. I’ve lost 60lbs without exercise (that’s another story) went visiting relatives for about three weeks about 1 1/2 weeks of eating ‘normal’ meals with family my stomach was screaming at me … stop eating this stuff… went back on carnivore ( got the strange looks and questions, you’re just eating ALL THAT meat. lol) yes I bought all my own groceries (meats, eggs etc) tummy and other body parts got real happy again … cheaper you betcha. No potato chips, no dips, no ice cream, no cereals, no milk, yogurt, French fries, no cookies. Add up all those snack foods and goodies, impulse buys. See how much just those items ‘cost’ and you’re still hungry! I like this lifestyle
I lost 53 pounds in 31 days on carnivore with another 50 to go, I ate regular meals for about 4 days when I got meat aversion about 2 weeks ago, I felt like crap! Sore muscles, terrible sleep, no energy. I love my junk food though and it's been a tough mental battle. Hopefully can stick with it.
I am so proud of you. I have been carnivore/ketovore for about 18 months and have lost about 150 lbs. I have 50 more to go and will no longer be officially in the obese category!!
Your starting size, is exactly how I currently look, you have inspired me to make me loose my weight as you did, I will save this video, and watch it every day, to give me the daily inspiration to not give up, the end results are real, and obtainable for me, so thank you very much brother. 😎👍
Looking great, Mike! I have been on carnivore about 2 years. When I try to add veggies, it starts the carb addition and I want junk food. I start getting fluid in my joints and digestive issues, not sleeping as good, etc. Our Wynn Dixie has weekend specials on rib eyes, this week, 5 99/lb so I load up. 2 chains have lots of bogo deals (buy one, get one free) so easy to get good quality bacon really cheap. It eat a lot of butter. So easy to shop and cook and ckean up. So happy for you!
Something I like about Dr Berry is that he suffered the same crap we're going through but found a solution that's doable and sustainable. He was overweight, pre-diabetic, suffered from terrible heart burn, etc. BUT, look at him now! He's a success. 😊
OMG WHAT A Transformation. You look so healthy. You've added years of longevity to your life I was wondering if you have lost weight you looked so much healthier. Fantasticaaaaaaa
I hit 309 lbs and I'm 5'1". I went on keto, I lost 40 lbs in the first 3 months. I lost down to 240 and stayed there, even though I could not afford to eat keto. Bad eating habits crept back in and I've gained 20 pounds. I'm considering carnivore seriously, I think I can afford it and protein is perfect for me as I'm hypoglycemic. I do watch Dr Berry and I'm moving in the right direction again. Congrats on your progress Mike, I thought you had lost weight!
To be honest, 6.8 with how big you were that isnt too bad! I am 235 with an A1C of 13. I do drink a lot of beer and eat fast food but I am going to try what you did!
You always look good. It is wonderful that you are controlling your health issues and blood pressure, and getting those secondary ailments nipped. Diabetes is a dreadful disease. Wonderful that you feel good : )
Thank you Mike, this may be the kick in the a** I needed. I know it works, I lost 35 lbs in 3 weeks doing carnivore. Fell off the wagon hard d/t ice cream!! Time to get back on the pony for me. Congratulations and keep at it! Teresa in Maine
I knew you looked thinner, I knew it! Good job Mike. I love that you're doing this and that you back. I had just subscribed to your channel a few videos before you quit. I saw you with Bobblehead and thought man that guy is grouchy! Then I found your channel and it became one of my very favorites. You think a lot like I do. And of course that's a good thing!!!
I knew you had lost some weight👍 Keep up with the Carnivore. My son is doing it also; his wake-up call was about 6 or 7 weeks ago when he got to a hospital just in time to avoid the widow maker.
Congrats on the weight loss. If the diet works for you, that's great. Unfortunately, I nor my husband could do that as my husband has kidney disease, and we can't have all that meat, fat, sodium, etc. Good luck on your journey. Take care Mike.
congrats Mike, I am 74 and I have been on carnivore since Sept.18 2023. I lost 20 lbs but that was enough, i weigh 140 now. I never try to tell people what to do, but I secretly prayed that you would find this diet and try it. I noticed in your face that you had lost weight. This is a great way of eating and you never have to waste time trying to think of something to cook. Shopping is a breeze. I am very healthy now and I had numerous ailments going into it. All my labs are great and my doctor of 37 yrs. is very pleased for me. the only medication I take is for thyroid. Keep up the great work, you are still a young man with years ahead of you. make it your best life.
Congratulations, Mike! I think the carnivore diet is the way to go. So many have been cured with meat alone. As usual, they told us crap about meat and not just meat!
I am so proud of you!!! I knew it! I could tell you had lost weight & I could tell you seemed happier!!! It is definitely a lifestyle change! I started Carnivore Jan. 27 this year & I’ve lost 52 lbs! And that is without exercise! I couldn’t do exercise because my knee was so bad! Now I can do a whole lot of activity! People think I’m crazy! But they also see my progress! I still get “experts” preaching at me about how bad meat is for me, whilst holding a bag of chips themselves! 🤦🏻♀️ Carnivore healed my anxiety, depression & inflammation! My clothes are falling off of me, even the new ones I bought just a month ago! I can’t even tell you how good I feel! I stumbled across carnivore because another homestead channel was doing it. I wasn’t subscribed to them, they were just in the “suggestion” links at the bottom of my screen. It had a thumbnail of a guy that had lost half his body weight & then from there I found Dr Berry, Dr Chaffee, & so many more! You may get haters from this lifestyle, but you’re going to inspire sooooooo many more from this video alone! You’re right, it is not expensive! I’ve helped convert a few people to carnivore because I shared my progress on my facebook page. And they, too, are seeing good results! You look great, by the way! 💪🏼👏❤️
Congratulations Mike. Your persistance and determination are paying off big. Thanks for the video. It has given me something to really consider. I turned 60 recently and need to shed some weight so life will be a little more worthwhile for me in the coming years. Best of luck and have a good one!!
Carnivore here. I am disabled and went from 210 - 180. No work outs my back is a mess and can’t do much without being in pain so I take it easy and do what I can. I’m leaner and more cut then when I was younger and worked out a lot. Go figure good luck stick with it you’ll be much healthier and happier
You look amazing. You look healthy and 10 years younger. I knew what was going on. I recognized it immediately. I Didn't want to bring attention to it. So I told Chris 😂
Way to go Mike! It took me 2 years to slowly lose 52 lbs and feel much better. I was able to do it just by cutting down on the amounts of food intake but it was hard at first. Our bodies are all different so I like to say, ‘do what works for you’. I was never one that could stick to a diet but finally figured out what works for me. You seem a lot happier now that you’ve found your way to get healthier, I’m happy for you.
Good for you Brother, keep it up. I need to get back on that myself. Last year at this time I was walking two to six miles four to five days a week. I got down to 238lbs from 275. I quit about ten months ago and I'm back up to 275. I never changed my diet,I just walked. Seeing you happy, healthy and moving around good has got me wanting to get back at it. Ain't nothing to do but do it. Take care and God Bless!!! Happy Trails
Congrats Mike!!! You got this... Before the Pandemic I lost 80 lbs just by watching what I eat and it took 5 years. but then gained 30 back during the Pandemic.. I've now lost 20 of those lbs 10 more to go to get to my 2020 weight and then I want to loose another 50!!!
Thanks for this video. I have been looking at the carnivore diet videos for a week just went for labs and to see the Dr and he said it was fine to start it for me it is life or death with my health. Please do lots of videos. Your are the only person I know how is doing this after watching you for months I am truly encouraged by this video. Thanks
Great job Mike. I will be following you and joining you on this journey. I've been too big too long! I am blessed to have a doctor that is very supportive and knowledgeable re the Carnivore diet. Looking forward to your updates.
Very proud of you Mike for deciding to do this. You look so much better and I know you have to feel better. I know I feel better after losing 35 pounds. I have a little more to go but I don’t want to be a skinny Minnie anymore. At 76 I just want better health and feel better. Great job!!
Hello Mike, congratulations. You look amazing, and I am very happy to see you take your health seriously. I bet your mind is much clearer, and yes, the energy your feeling is awesome Look forward to seeing ur progress and whatever you like to post 🇨🇦
Congratulations Mike!! Keep going, you'll reach your goal. You've inspired me. The doctor put me on metformin when my A1C was 5.9. I hadn't done any research, just took it because they said. Now I know better. Time to stock the freezer with meat. Besides bacon are you eating any other pork or chicken? Wishing you well on this journey.
Mike CONGRATS!!!!!!! I have lived this way most of my life, when you start adding things back in to your diet, whatever you eat, eat REAL food not boxed processed food. Your body needs some carbs when you get down to where you feel good not what the insurance charts say. But if you start eating processed food you will notice how bad you feel. I'm not going to lie and tell you that I don't ever eat them, once in a while I will have something chips or something like that. OH MY GRACIOUS within a half hour my stomach is upset, I hurt all over and just don't feel good. That is usually enough to remind me for a good while. No it isn't the easiest thing to eat real food but it sure makes you feel better. It means growing your own, cooking from scratch and that kind of thing. You find that you eat simpler just because it is easier and every once in awhile you will fix yourself a fancy meal and it is good. Keep up the good work!!
Love this video! Real person just trying to improve their life. I started the carnivore life style June 10 and 10 weeks later down 47lb. I started much heavier than you at 340lb and loving the way I’m feeling now. Great job keep up the good work!
Awesome Mike!!!! I've been carnivore for 3 months I've lost 40lbs n most of my health issues have started resolving themselves.. I'm tickled pink u found this awesome diet!!! I'm praying for u hun.. much love coming ur way ❤❤❤
You look great! I watched an older video the other day & I thought you looked a lot bigger in it. It takes a lot to put yourself out there. It's encouraging to me. Who doesn't love steak and bacon? That would be un-American!
I’m so glad I saw your video! Interesting that I was just last week in Broken Bow for the first time. Love it. The name of the channel caught my eye. I wanted to see the scenery but I’m inspired now to finally start carnivore. Been going through some stuff. But I really wan to improve my health and ride my horse more. Thank you!
Wow! Looking good, Mike! Ive always been a fish, variety of meats and eggs eater. Not much into breads or pasta. I do eat veggies. Im 5', 95 lbs, and very active except now, broke my foot. Im so happy for you😊. Hugs from Florida
I just finished your carnivore video. I'm not much of a meat eater at all. I never was. But ohhhhh the carbs. Potatoes, bananas, popcorn,.I felt awful. So I have lost weight since winter. Eating tons of tomatoes 🍅! And squash. Carbs in squash I guess. No butter. No dairy. Anything dairy doesn't agree with my body. I have good laying hens so eat eggs most days. But now I have this awful craving for bananas. Well anyway. I'm proud of you and excited for you and ohhhh so glad you're back!
Good for you Mike I'm glad you found something that is working for you. You're looking great so far and I know your determined to finish this up until you reach your goal.
Stumbled on you. Excellent job. I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing your journey. My wife and I started walking in January 2022 and doing intermitent fasting shortly afterwards. We have both gone from 220 to 160. We eat a lot of meat also. I'm a whiskey guy unfortunately. I still need to lose about 15 more pounds. Thanks again!
Wow, from 220 to 160? You guys are walking miracles! Just remember, whiskey is like a workout for the soul-just keep it in moderation while you get those last 15 pounds off!
So proud for ya Mike. I watch Dr. Berry and you're right, look at the person doing these ways of eating. Dr. Berry is like 55 yrs. old, and he looks and works like a 35 yr. old. I see a big difference in you for sure. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your next video.
awesome video my friend 💕 I knew you lost weight ..... I'm on that metformin crap too along with everything else and then some 🙄 on top of the diabetes I have factor V Leiden disease, RA, bad wheels and spine but I applaud you for getting in shape and taking us along on your journey 👍~hugs to the gang 🐾💖🐾
Wow great job 🎉 It sure makes it easier to move around loosing weight. You really seem alot more energetic now 😍 So happy for you. Keep up the good work 😊 I enjoy your channel very much! Greetings from Sweden/Eva
Lost 90 lbs so far. Just went under 200lbs for the first time in 34 years. Was prescribed Mounjaro for out of control diabetes (it's a diabetes treatment) - was on a keto-lite diet had lost 20lbs but still couldn't get my glucose level under the mid 300s. Now I'm coming off the diabetes drugs and after my next blood tests will be off the high blood pressure drugs too if the numbers track. Starting to taper off the meds and will keep having routine blood tests and monitoring by my doctor but you don't need to stay on them (will be testing to know for sure). Had to get new glasses with no prescription needed for distance any more. Doc explained that high 300s blood glucose is like syrup for blood and the tiny blood vessels in your eyes don't get enough circulation. Lose the weight, eat healthy, get off the drugs (all of them!). Good luck! It sucks sometimes but the payout is worth it. As for Mounjaro - don't take it if you don't need it for diabetes. I've managed to avoid side effects I think largely because I'm not on it to "lose weight". It helps but I was already loosing weight before the drug and I credit that with not getting some of those effects. Don't do a drug like that without frequent monitoring by a doctor.
Big fan of Dr. Berry & people need to understand that their MD knows NOTHING about nutrition and what healthy food is! You were exactly right saying they don’t want you healthy, (no money in that!). Congratulations and glad you’re feeling better 🥳👏👍
Congratulations. I am glad you found something that works for you. I'm not a big carnivore, but I have lost 120lbs since January doing intermittent fasting, and eating a very low calorie mostly vegetarian low carb diet with a couple ounces of meat a couple times a week. I know other people who have lost a lot of weight on this diet. Got off Metformin, getting rid of that made me feel oh so much better. I still have a good way to go as I was bigger than you when I started. We are around same size now. I lost about another 150lbs after getting sick from Covid... I was HUGE around 500lbs. I got to 350 and got stuck there a few years. I felt like total garbage. Could not sleep, so terribly sore, gasping for air and no energy. I have more energy now at 46 than I did at 20! And no diabetes, high blood pressure, or gout anymore.
You are looking great! Keep up the good work. You’ve got me thinking I need to research the diet for women. I’m on several daily medications. I would love to get off those pills, too. I do find that I feel better when I eat protein. I would love to lose the weight and regain my energy. Thanks for the inspiration.
Congratulations! I started keto in 2020 and have progressed to pretty much carnivore ever since. I’ve lost 80lbs and working on the next 50. My body has been healing, gotten off most of my medications, down to 3. I’m doing BBBE right now also, for metabolic reset and reintroducing some foods. Everything you mentioned that you’re eating, with the exception of sauerkraut, is all carnivore. And fermented foods are supposed to be good for you. (Per Ben Bickmen)
I have done keto and intermittent fasting and lost 30 lbs, I am now backslidden, You have inspired me to get back on the wagon. Thank you! You look great! About 20 years younger!
