Same thing here. Watched another vid and it explained it better. Use your abs to pull not your arms. Your arms should be resting and relaxed. Let your abs do all the work
I am not a huge fan of ab machines in general but I did try this one yesterday and my abs are pretty sore today. I ended up doing 20 reps per set so maybe increase the weight or number of reps you're doing.
I'd prefer other exercises too instead of this one. But this series was made with very out of shape people in mind. I think it might be a great alternative for people who can't easily lie down on the floor.
