i choose australia over canada because its a friendly country. i swear if you ask for help they wont reject you, and it feels like a home. the weather and the farms and everything. Their system is always on point. I mean i dont know why everyone is like the system is so strict, if you are being true to the government. it will give you everything.

Australia is way ahead from Canada in technology,wages, housing prices and transportation. You guys haven’t visited there cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane etc that’s why you guys are saying it. The average wage rate in state of Victoria is $18/ hr compare it to Britsh Columbia. City of Sydney is so well connected with all its suburbs that even if you don’t own a car you can travel freely. I would recommend you to go and visit Australia and it’s cities and then make a video. And people talking about racial discrimination should understand that it’s every where in the world . I have been to India 5 times and believe India alone has a big racial discrimination than any where in the world with so many caste systems .

been here in Canada for almost a year now. I love Canada but the only thing I hate about this country is the weather. its reaaallllyyyy cold in here its -40 outside right now (High Level AB). Planning to move or to visit Australia if I got my PR. Sunny weather is always better than winter. Still thankful to be in Canada

This is a great video. I'm from Jamaica and, living in Canada for almost Thirty Years. Since moving I've had very little problems. Never been to Australia but, from what I have seen and read it too is not a bad country. Guess it all depends on one's preference. Also like to add that any country on this Planet can become liveable comfortably however, it depends on the citizens of those countries to make them so.

It's not free healthcare....you pay a Medicare levy every year from your gross income. Still a good system though....and yes if you have a life threatening illness you get immediate care.

Two errors: work culture Australia is renowned for having a much better life balance and it has been noted numerous times, the work environment is far more preferable to the North American system so one point off Canada and one to Australia. Weather Australia wins outright because warmer is always preferable to colder and if people love snow activity Australia has that as well. We have snowy mountains. So adjusted points wise Australia wins 12 to 10

I have visited and have family and friends that live there, but they all say the weather will drive them out of the country sooner rather than later, so i agree with you, how on Earth did they give a point to Canada for weather? As a born and raised Aussie ur incorrect u don’t get time off depending on what job u get teaching u can get time off hospitality or retail u don’t get time off or annual leave u save up and ask to get some time off ur lucky if ur boss says yes that’s a misconception people have that our country allows u to go on break with any job and be relaxed umm not really the only relaxing u do is after work u don’t get time off unless u r a teacher and maybe other jobs it’s not really chill it’s more stress people r only chill cuz they good at hiding stress on the inside my country isn’t perfect

It never goes below -5c where I live here in Victoria, BC. Vancouver would be similar. However we do get 8 months of constant cloud cover with the odd sunny day mixed in a couple days a week.

I love skiing, skating, ice hockey, and the snow is so beautiful on the mountains. It's a state of mind, but you believe what you let yourself believe. Thousands of Aussies and Kiwis move to Canada, thousands of Canadians move to Australia and New Zealand. As an Australian, allow me to set the record straight on racism here. Like most western countries you'll get some racism. Australians are pretty receptive to the large number of Indian students here. The one's who will more than likely be subjected to racism are unskilled refugees who come here. If you have a skill, come here and start making money, you're contributing to the economy. It's those who come and expect government handouts for themselves and their family who are frowned upon.

@@esleenkamau749 I wish I knew enough about employment prospects for your industry to be able to answer. There are plenty of websites that may be able to provide you with all the information you need. Australian universities are very good (I've attended two), but don't know how fees compare with overseas. We do have a large number of foreigners studying in Australia, so maybe we're quite cheap comparatively. An educated person like yourself would be warmly welcome here and could make a comfortable lifestyle here. Some great places to raise a family. Best of luck, and sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Don Coleman No, that's not true. My friends are skilled immigrants from Asia. They have been studying and working in Australia for years. They face racism on a daily basis. People on streets say racial slur to them. One of my friends was once physically attacked by a stranger on street.

The racial discrimination is too much in Australia, racial discrimination isn't always physical or violent or even vocal, most of the times it subtle but you feel it. It drastically effects your quality of life overall. Canada is much much better in that case.

I will give you one point for effort, however the video is very inaccurate. For professional migrants, hands down, Australia is a much better place to live because No.1 there are more examples of migrants getting jobs in their fields in Australia, as compared to Canada. No.2 Salaries are much better in Australia. Also, your comment on weather is very inaccurate. Australian weather is much nicer (it has all four seasons though in moderation), while Canada’s winters are too extreme.

I been through the whole video and I realised that these people haven’t got any idea about what they are talking saying. They just made this video from there limited knowledge. I am resident of Australia 🇦🇺, Canada and Nz and working in health sector nearly 15 years. I used to live in Canada 🇨🇦 nearly 4 years and then I moved to Australia 🇦🇺 and have been living here around 6 years. First up all Austrlia is far far better than Canada, if u compares anything money, weather or standard of living. Its not tropical climate in every where in Australia mostly in Queensland other states pretty much in between 30-15 digress despite of summer. Health care is totally free its called Medicare, compared to Canada 🇨🇦, minimum wage is 24.75 dollars per hour none other than Australia anywhere u don’t get such huge minimum wage in Canada its 11-13 dollars per hour . Main thing is superannuation the money is after the retirement so high u can live pretty decent life after retirement.i agree with one thing migrating to Australia now a days like big deal immigration rules are scrutinising harder and harder. From this point itself any one can imagine why its so strict in Australia and easy in Canada 🇨🇦

Canada is a huge country. There is a big difference between weather in Vancouver and Saskatoon. Be safe though and move to Australia.

The only place in inhabited, southern Canada that is likely to see -40 is the central prairie region, and then only very briefly. With global warming, such temperatures become increasingly unlikely with every passing year. You can dress for -40, but you can't dress for +40.

@@MultiCappie first visit Australia then u can talk about where we get 40 degrees. Because we hardly get 40 degree days in the south. Brisbane has an average of 29 degrees which is the hottest month. The only place in Australia that is hot all the time is Darwin and near by areas there including alive springs. But hardly no one lives In alive springs and Darwin it’s a very low population

I am agree with health, but not with education. One of the biggest difference between Australia and Canada is that once you finish your degree in Canadá you can get your certification directly for immigration purposes with you Canadian degree. In Australia even though you get a degree from an Australian university there are private institutions that are looking for profits and have higher standards when they are evaluating your skills assessment making more difficult to immigrate to Australia. It is not logical that after you pay one of the most expensive fees in the world your Australian degree is not valid for immigration purposes and you have to be certified by a private institution who has higher standards than university and in some cases you have to pay them a lot of money to get positive your skills assessment through professional year programs.

Some not so true information: Been in Aus for more than 15years, never heard of anyone dying due to UV cancer. Aus has its own aussie accent which is no way near british accent. One can get citizenship in 3yrs too depending upon the cases. Cost of living is high because living standard is high. Salaries are high so are the hourly rates.

@@aashwinkumar2242 Living in Canada Ontario last 22 years I can confirm that healthcare here is awful. You do pay for it from the high taxes you pay, but barely get any care. So its free but almost non-existent. Everything takes forever, things get slipped through cracks, and don't even get me started on the surgeries wait time.

Leaders have visited mEmbers for so many years, and as per our leaders, best place, healthcare and government is Australia. Yes, visa processing is tough. Indian People always praise for Australia but choose to live Canada Just because Canada is far situated from India than Australia, Near USA, and flying over Europe. Apart from these 3 factors Canada is not best than Australia for Indian. Rest you will waste your time to think more about comparison.

My 2 cents 1. Regarding the PR process, i found the PR process of Australia is much better than Canada Express entry system (for Canada PR, you will be rejected if you are missing some documents, but for Australia PR, they will give you a second chance to submit the missing documents). And Canada started the Express entry system in 2015 only. Australia had a similar system years back. 2. Passport power index - 161 vs 164 , not much difference to choose one from the other, so not fair to give this point to Canada, i felt it as a joke :) 3. And regarding driving ease, i dont think it is an issue. I switched from right side driving to left side driving ( i never drove in India), and except for the first few days, the transition was just fine. 4. Canadians working in USA / Canada being closer to USA - I think this is a not a big advantage for Canadians (except for tourism activities). Even if you get a TN visa (after becoming a Canadian citizen) and work in US, you can't apply for a green card when you have TN visa. This is same as the E-3 visa to US for Aussie citizens. I was in Canada till 2017 beginning, and now i have permanently moved to Australia and living here for the last 2 years. I could have applied for Canadian PR thru Express Entry system but I decided not to pursue it. After living in both USA and Canada, I find Australia is way better in terms of weather (even though the summers are very hot and you need sunscreen when you go out). I prefer sunny weather when compared to harsh winter. At least I dont need to dig out my car after a 30 inch snow storm here in Australia :)

Hey guys pls make comparison on reasonable points.. such as day care cost, salary and other survival facts after arriving there. If immigration is super friendly then that’s also another problem for the future. Strict immigration is 100 times better than raising unemployment and make ppl confused. If you consider racism, accent and driving side it’s useless if you leave your country you need to adapt the changes. It’s not cherry on the cake. If you have lived in both countries then all your judgements ll be valid. Some years back I was too hesitant to travel to Australia for work visit only because of all these racism stories on media. When I lived there I can proudly say I felt like home and more open people than cold countries. I work for tourism sector in Scandinavia and I meet people from the world. Canadians are just another brits not special.. fyi.

As far as passports are concerned, it is the source of strength you see. I think the Henley passport index is the most accurate. For the first quarter of 2022, both Australian and Canadian passports rank at 7th place with 185 visa-free countries.

The couple was a bit biased to Canada. as for weather, they mention that Canada has four different types of weather like Australia. but, it's not true for most of the states. States with four weathers, usually have way too higher costs in living. Anyways, it's pretty normal to be biased as they are the permanent citizens there.

After working in Florida, USA for 4 years, I moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2013. That was the best decision of my life. Canada is covered with snow 4-5 months in an year. Who wants to live in a deep freezer? At least not me. I have met so many Canadians here in Australia, who have migrated down under just for the nice weather. For the US proximity, Canadians have TN visa, but E3 visa for Australians is even better. Its can renewed indefinitely and your spouse can work too, which is a big big plus. No other country in the world has been offered such a visa by USA. Many other countries (South Korea, Ireland etc...) are aggressively lobbying the US government for such a visa. Some other comparisons in this video were totally **irrelevant and illogical**, like application transparency, driving side, racism, citizenship time or passport index. My own Australian PR application was approved in 3 months, and it was delayed for almost a month because I could not get an earlier medical appointment with a doctor in the US, otherwise it may have been approved in 2 months. The skilled migrant system that Canada currently use is based on Australian Skills Select system as it was so successful. As far as racism goes, its in every western country, some have more, some have less. All it matters is the skills you have. They may hate you, disrespect you for your skin color or religion, but they will respect you for your skills. There is a reason they call it SKILLED migration. In Australia, I have seen people of all color and religion making their mark in the industry. If you do not have the right skills, you should not migrate anyway. You will be in for a big big disappointment if you have the wrong skills, doesn't matter the country.

I have lived in Australia New Zealand USA and Canada by far the best country is the USA if not then Australia followed by Canada and NZ 1) Canada couple is right in most points but it is not easy to get Aus PR maybe you have short skilled degree but not everyone has and yes racism is lot more in Aus then any country in the world no one can deny that they dont like brown people or Asians especially in Melbourne yes.! Period 2) Also talking about E3 visa you are right it is because Aus helped US in Iraq war so bush gave them Canthe E3 facility and all you need is a masters degree 3) Now comes leaving in Canada or Australia, one would choose Aus because closer to India, nice weather, doesn't matter right hand or left hand one gets used to left-hand drive , better jobs and minimum wage. I chose Canada because it is closer to the USA everything is Cheap in USA, 30- 60 mins from Vancouver or Toronto driving, Aus is so expensive in everything at end of the day and racism very much But if you want to settle in US and have to go now and than you cannot do from Aus and flights are exp as hell as so far At the end of the day no country even comes closer to USA in making money or pursuing American dream only bad thing about US is shooting and high crime rates also the worst immigration system in the world

The wages you earn in Australia is very much higher than compared to Canada plus the beaches are so extra ordinary beautiful in Australia and the weather is most of the time sunny in Australia which i loved it very much compared to Canada the weather was dreadful and cold all the times

@@sheetraval1857 New Zealand is better because the benifits are all the same, but in new zealand you get cheaper internet and property in terms of rent and purchase and job market is also good and weather as well, but it's not that easy to get the New zealand or Australia's PR as compared to canada, canada's online PR or any other immigration process is very transparent.

Consider the below factor too.. - Australia has more aerable land than Canada. - Australias natural resources are lithium, iron, copper, nickel, which are more valuable in future compared to Oil and gas and coal in Canada. - Most tourism destinations in the world are built around beaches and subtropical climate and Australia has that in abundance. - Most preferable temperature for humans to live and work comfortably is 20-25 degC and whole of Australias annual mean temperature is around 21 degC. People who prefer cold can go south, and those who prefers warmth can go north. - Future economic growth is in Asia and south east asia, where Australia is strategically located. And we have a slice of Antarctica too incase earth gets much warmer, also we will seek asylum in Canada, all at taxpayers expense..Lol.. After all Canadians are our besties, we dont compare. No bro, even i am in canada, except BC province & to some extent in southwestern Ontario that to in winter it can be as low as about ( - 10 to - 15) for some period , other parts are typically very harsh during winters(as per Asian standards) while Australia populated cities enjoy oceanic climate.. So for weather it's advantage Australia...

True! we earn more here in Australia but the living cost here is extremely higher. All the “extra” income you earn goes towards the rent, car loans, food, electricity bills etc... let alone if you plan to get away for a weekend and flight out from one state to another, the amount you pay to fly out from Darwin to Sydney it’s the amount you’d probably pay from USA to Japan 🤷🏾‍♀️ Aussies hotels, food, transportation is very pricey. (NEVER GO ON VACATION INSIDE AUSTRALIA IF YOU PLAN TO SAVE UP) And think twice before you over speed 🚙 in the freeways. Try to go over 5km 🚙 in a different state, 1K fine to pay within 3 weeks... AUSTRALIA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. In my opinion I think Australia is a good country to make money for a little while (specially if you work in small remote communities where you can take advantage of some benefits the states offers like free accommodation, free dental and medical care, free gym, and pay less bills etc) and save up your money to invest it overseas. (Avoid living in big Aussie cities). This is what my husband and I been doing for over 6 years in a rural area in the middle of the desert 🏜 we got free housing, half of the bills paid by our employer, we use the work car for our personal needs, we have free medical and dental care, free gym and a annual bonus of $2k from the government just because we live in a rural area. Living in the middle of the desert is also a big sacrifice and it has its down side of it, specially the wildlife 🐍 🦎 🐊 🐄 🦘 🤷🏾‍♀️ but the money we made here blessed us so much. We were able to purchased 3 properties in Alberta Canada and now it’s been rented out. We plan to move to Canada by the end of this year to stay there for good! We have had enough of the crazy wildlife here in Australia, the heat, bushfires, the expensive cost of living and of course the extreme racism. 🤦🏽‍♀️ We been through a lot in this land but the sacrifices were worth. NO REGRETS!!! Canada 🇨🇦 here we come!!! 🙏🏾
