Hiii I am Mexican-Spanish and i am trying to decide whether to study in Spain or in Germany, I want to study an engineering. What are your opinions on life in Spain and Germany for international students??
This video is fantastic - so engaging and well edited. From an Aussie considering moving to Munich for study, thank you so much for your insight and wisdom!
@@fernandotabora Hi! This helped a lot! Munich keeps getting better and better the more I learn about it. I’d love to see a video on how to craft that “really refined application letter” according to what germans in munich expect or are looking for. Also, if you could talk to us about everyday details like - for example - the best app to pay taxes / utilities, a supermarket you recommend, what insurance to get based on your experience, how is the healthcare system like over there, etc that would be AWESOME.
First of all, you really look such a friendly person!! This video is making me more excited than any other video haha I'm super happy that I'm moving to Munich in some months. Keep it real? Just keep making your videos cause they're really great....much huuugs
I'm so jealous of the quality of this video brou! Definetly deserve more credit seeing It from a filmmakers perspective🔥 I'd LOVE to film with you sometime😜
this is SUCH a well put together video!!! I loved it! I'm a sophomore in high school right now and I know I have time to decide but LMU and Munich in general are definitely my first choice for higher studies!!
LMU is a very cool Uni. I would say that coming here can give you a lot of perspective on life and you can learn a new language as well. Defiantly worth it. Best of luck my dud!
Depends really. Now I am looking for a new apartment and the prices are a bit low. But you should maybe look in Immoscout24 and pay for the premium so that you can contact the owners faster.
Amazing energy dude, love your consideration for the details. Im fascinated by the living part. My wife and I are about to move. We initially wanted Zurich, for the life there, role has to be in Munich. Any suggestions of ‘busy’ but also ‘outside’ munich places to look at for living?
I know how you feel, man. I to left my country (2020 belarusian protestor right here) and the tear gas is something you will never forget, IMO. Had that experience myself. Tho i haven't managed to escape the cops, but escaped from the hospital afterwards. Actually got to your vid because considered Munich as potentially place to go. Currently I'm in Tbilisi, GE. So you got my sub. I'm looking for a place to study, and the LMU got my attention because of strong phylosophy school ( got interested in phylosophy after all that protest bs, maybe you can relate IDK. Like so many thing you can't possibly control and predict. And also there is there is people dying around you, geting injured. So there was strong existential questions in my head ). Anyway, thanks for the vid. Would be great if you would make a video on LMU -- you experience, how you got there and all the relevant stuff (or you did'nt studied there, I got confused a bit). Stay safe, and keep hope that one day our homes will be a better place to return to.
Hey man! Thank you very much for the story! I feel you 💪🏻I like Munich because is the total opposite from what I am use to. And this city has help me grow in so many ways. Can only recommend. I didn't study in the LMU but for sure one day I can make a video about it 🙌🏻 Stay strong and happy man and keep it going that I am sure that experience will just make you stronger 🤟🏻 Best regards, Fer
Awesome Video man! I love it! :D How did you actually learn to make videos? I'm kinda interested in cinematography and i was always curious how people learned it except going to filmschool or something. Also what kind of programs do u use? How did you make the sound effect on 5:19? Man, not gonna lie this is so well made, haha :)
Hey ONE, a lot of try and error 😆 RU-vid is great to learn! After that is all about practice 🙌🏻 Editing software: premier But I would recommend DaVinci resolved. I also would use wha ever sofware you have that can edit at the beginning. 5:19: it's call a "Riser" transition sound effect Thank you for your comment! And have a good day 🤟🏻
Hi, I’m Simon from Slovakia and I have a question about studying in Munich. I want to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience in English, but I only see Master’s programs offered by LUM and TUM. Do you know if there are any Bachelor’s programs in Neuroscience in Munich? Or do you know anyone who is studying Neuroscience there? I'd also be grateful if you can give me information of the requirements for studying Neuroscience. I would appreciate any advice or guidance. Thank you.
Hey man! Sadly I was never a student, but you can DM on instagram and I can add you to the munich group. A lot of people there are students and maybe they can help you.
I've been living in Berlin, and "ich kann nicht mehr," I detest its dirtiness, despite living in the West side, which is relatively liveable. I feel constrained. Currently seeking employment in Munich, but haven't had any luck so far.
great video, I wish you'd mentioned the language barrier for foreigners though and how that might or might not effect your view of Munich, that's one of my main concerns for moving here.
Uhh great idea for a vidoe! I didn't know any German before and had to learn it here. So for the first 2 years everything was very slow 🐌 But ones you know the basics, you start to understand a bit more the culture and after that everything just gets easier. People that move here and just speak English are just never going to get the full experience.
Hey, I just moved in München and yeah when I saw your video I thought: oh I'm not the one to think this for German people and culture 😅 Ps: about the apartment I am looking forward too 😅
For this video I used the Lumix G9 and for all my new videos I am using the lumix s5ii with a Polaroid filter that helps me against the sun when is to bright so that I can keep my aperture low (so that it looks more blurry). And also shooting in V-log so that I can get the most out of the colors.
El video que no sabía que necesitaba ver. Vivo en DD y estoy pensando en mudarme a otra ciudad :) desde hoy te culparé por estas ganas de agarrar todo, tomar un tren y empezar denuevo en Munich
fun fact, i watch your video not for the guidance, but for feeling nostalgic. 2 weeks summer school at tum really makes me live and love munich. hope i could pursue my doctorate later at tum.
@@fernandotabora Thank you it looks really helpful, but I meant the particular blog of apartments you showed in the video (Olympia centrum if I write it correctly). Sorry for the misunderstanding!
I’d love to see a video on how to craft that “really refined application letter” according to what germans in munich expect or are looking for. Great video! Articulate and engaging. I'm an Aussie living in Barcelona for 5 years thinking of making the move to Munich. Nice green city, not too big or small, most things seem to run smoothly.
Ciao Fernando, my name is Vienna, and going to Munich at the end of this month for work. Do you have any recommendations where is the zone or neighborhood where I can find not-so-expensive small apartment for one person? Thank you
First it depends in your budget. Second the chip ones are always outside of the city. I would start there and then ones you are settling look for apartments in the center. That's how all my friends did. Also pay for Immoscout24 premium to find apartments faster 💪🏻
Hello I am moving to munich and is looking for WG in munich the search have been very exhausting till now would like to get in touch with you regarding it
sehr schön zuerst hab ich geglaubt du bist ein ami aber dann spanisch hört man durch du bist sehr lustig und sympatisch i love your video how was barcelona in comparison cau
I was just looking for different videos about Munich and Germany in general, and I’m so happy I found yours! It’s the best one I’ve seen. Also you come across as a very friendly, nice and positive person, as some of the other commentators have already mentioned! Speaking of which, I’m surprised you don’t have more comments, honestly. Extremely relatable story too, I’m 20 right now and I want to move asap because my country isn’t safe (due to corruption as well). I hope I’ll be able to find a job in Germany, ideally (in IT). Got some savings, my German is B1 atm, and I’m currently working hard towards building a strong resume (and mastering my German, of course) =)
Hey PB! Thank you so much! I am sure everything will go your way if you really want it. If it worked for me I can work for you also 💪🏻Germany is beautiful and you are going to love it ❤️ Viel Glück!
Fernaaaaaaando, endlich hast du‘s hochgeladen!!! Hahahah 😂 Geil, einfach 20 Min. das ist ja ne Doku :) Richtig nice dude! So jetzt schaue ich es mir an hahaha
There is a problem that I don't understand. What semester do Germans go to university, winter or summer? I'm going to apply to study at Lmu, but what I'm wondering is, what semester does a normal german student go to university after graduating from high school, winter or summer? Or which period is more preferred by the Germans in LMU?
Depends. Some classes start in winter. Other start eather in winter or in summer and some just start in summer ☀️. I think that's how it goes. But at the end I would say check with the LMU directly
@@grimbledore2972 usually school ends in the summer so usually (generally speacking) we go to uni in the winter semester becuase it is a seamingless transition from school to uni :)
@@jalilhaissam8878 also, look first for places outside from the city center and then ones you are in MUC for some time you can fine something better. But at the end man, it's all numbers game. Just be careful to never sign a contract with someone that has a "under-contract" meaning you pay the guy who is renting the apartment but is not the owner
I'm planning to move in Munich 2 years later!! For educational purpose ofc!! Hope I get selected for Munich ( I have decent grades so I don't really see a problem, except my parents lol)
Hi, this video is excellent for informations. I will move Munich next year and there is only one thing about german people. I hope they will be kind and friendly😬
Your videos have incredible quality! I want to go to Munich soon. I have the same feelings living in Brazil as when you lived in Venezuela, I totally understand you.
