I totally agree! It feels good to find someone else who understands the world and economics in the same way that I do! My family are all the "that's just the way it is" type and it sucks.

For me, it’s the fact that there are entire industries outside of work that are meant to dehumanize us. Figures that say this is what you must do, this where you belong, these are the inherent traits of your biology. They promise wealth and success, but their methods drive people to alienate themselves from one another - to sacrifice empathy, compassion, and generosity. Real connection with other humans is what we are really made for - it might not end the tyranny of the rich on its own, but it certainly helps us cope.

Said it before I'll say it again, so comforting to hear other people talking like this - we didn't evolve to perform one menial task all day every day, and even if we did why are we still doing it when we're miserable and have the technology and resources to stop? (It's capitalism and leftover bits of feudalism - just 'cus I know doesn't mean I ain't allowed to ask). PS - Do you have like a discord or subreddit or something where we can all talk without fear of being shutdown?

The ruling class would wa t me to get mad at you, cause im a 40 year old blue collar man trying to care for a family. I just cant do it though. Youre right about everything and i dont want you to go through what i went through. I spent my 20s worrying about getting enough money to make it another day. All i wanted was for somebody to put a shovel in my hand and pay me enough to survive do i could focus on having a punk rock band on the side. I couldnt even have that. I had to devote my all to survival. Its not all bad, but a better world is absolutely possible. Cheers, solidarity, and i hate to say it, but probably proletarian revolutin. Ⓐ One complaint - you should really stress that we want to work and work doesnt have to be like this. If we present the image that we just dont wanna do work, the kids whose parents told them that the left doesnt wanna work will feel like those ideas are validated.
