Life Is Strange: True Colors ALL ENDINGS EXPLAINED 

To this day, Life is strange 2 is the only game in the franchise where your choices throughout the game actually matter and affect the ending. But nobody talks about that.

Jed was legit a big plot twist, also seriously? All this for the same ending just slight differences? The ending was so heart wrenching sure but like...I would like more?

basically the 6 ending 1. be single but stay 2. be single be leve 3. be lesbian and stay 4. be lesbian but leve 5. straght and stay 6. be straght but leve nice

After playing this, I expected a lot more for the endings, like a good or bad one, for example I imagined that depending on the council scene and the way you convince jed to confess the ending should be drastically different 1. Most people don't support you and Jed doesn't confess : people are disgusted by your "lies". You are "banned" from the town and you leave, but after u jump in the bus you soon are arrested by forces and then judged and emprisoned for a long time (stealing, entering in restricted areas, etc..) Typhon takes over the town 2. Most people don't support you but Jed confesses: Everyone is shocked, and say that they are sorry. Jed is arrested along with Diane. You are free to stay or leave, but if you stay, the vibes will be awkward for a long time until it settles down. Typhon leaves the town. 3. High support but Jed doesn't confess : Weird vibes in Haven, everybody is confused, (last eye contact with Diane and Jed) you are pushed to leave the town ultimately, because your life might be threatened by Typhon (if you stay in the town, you die) Typhon takes over the town 4. High support and Jed confesses : Everyone is disgusted by Jed and his Typhon relations, Pike arrest him and Diane, you become the hero of Haven and you can choose to leave the city or to stay. Typhon is dismantled altogether Then you have the variations with Steph and Ryan

I honestly do not think I've ever been more immediately and completely emotionally invested in a group of characters. Love this game so much

The game that has the most different endings, all entirely choice based and not script based was LiS 2.

Yeah … this game definitely moved me at some points, and was definitely loveable, but it really doesn’t measure up to the original LiS. The final chapters of that game had me glued for hours, and the ‘good’ ending was fucking devastating.

My first playthrough, nobody sided with me on chapter 5. Only Steph who I romanced. I left and started my music career. Best Ending Ever.

The ending that I got in LIS2 tour my hart out the whole story did. But I didn't feel it in LIS3 and seeing that all the endings are just combinations of like 3 different factors I'm a bit disappointed Still a good play though. It's about the ride not the destination.

I would've like the game to have "bad" endings as well, endings in which Alex could've not exposed Typhon and Jed, so she being in danger would've had to run away from Haven and maybe Colorado. Now the differences with this ending would've been either escaping alone, with Steph, or with Ryan based almost the same with the choices that are already in the game, for example Alex could be having the romance with Ryan, but he doesn't believes her story and ends up running away alone or with Steph (as a friend). For the Gabe conversation in this ending, it could've been about deciding either if just letting it go and move on, getting away from Typhon as far as possible, OR deciding to keep fighting and end the game with Alex (and a partner if the player got into that route) resolved to still find a way to expose Typhon.

Feels like all endings are too similar and it doesn't really matter what you get.

I feel like the endings couldve been more trqgic .. depending on the way u used ur powers shouldve psychologically impacted alex even more.. maybe make her not want to be alive anymore...

I was So heartbroken about Jed. I was so convinced that he was on our side I even had my girl convinced and then boom 💔 Honestly though series is beautiful especially this particular game. It actually has me saving up to move to Colorado springs the place it was based off of. I really wish these games came out when I was a senior in high school and early on in college. Colors definitely hit home for me for majority of the game

I actually don’t think that in order for Ryan to back you your decisions towards him really matter much (or maybe just one?), while I’m 100% sure that your choices towards others really do matter

Honestly I saw the twist coming a mile away. The game as a whole had good ideas but the story couldn’t keep me engaged

So, that was a butterfly effect game. Plus u only get to choose Directly what open ending you want. Perfect game, but hope it had bad endings as well

I just finished it and I really enjoyed it. I tried to be mostly honest with everyone where as I thought if I started lying to people (even if it was to protect them?) it might snowball into something catastrophic or I'll forget my lies and I'll be caught out and be known as untrustworthy, the only time I remember "lying" was not telling Riley about Eleanors' condition as I figured that was going to come up eventually down the line anyway but it wasn't my place to bring that up right now. In regards to Eleanor forgetting Gabes death, I DID remind her as I know she wanted to hide her condition as long as she could for Rileys' sake and I guess for hers too, as I thought it might raise some suspicions if she started walking around town like nothing had happened. (By this stage I figured she's gonna get busted sooner or later and the others in town can take action when the time comes but for now it's not my place to draw attention to her condition plus she didn't seem like she was completely gone by this stage and I thought she could still at least enjoy what time she has while she still has her marbles). I didn't romance either Ryan or Steph as I thought Alex hasn't really been in the town THAT long, we're all still getting to know each other and jumping into a relationship with someone too soon didn't feel genuine and could potentially ruin an otherwise good friendship (thought if I WAS going to pick it would be Steph as I feel like the vibe is just there ya know?) I didn't take Charlottes anger/guilt away even though she was clearly very much hurting because I thought it wasn't my place to rob someone of that necessary emotion that she would need to properly process and work through what was going on with her. I DID however take away Pikes Fear at the station as I considered Typhon 100% busted with the evidence we had and Pike probably knew it too! He was just too afraid to accept it and take any action, and yeah it might have been wrong to manipulate someones emotions like that but in this case I considered it a necessary "evil" for the greater good, I (and Ryan/Steph) would have had his back and he just needed that little push. (TBH though I was hoping that they wouldn't be stupid enough to just hand over the USB to Pike without backing it up somewhere else first). I forgave Jed because even though he f'd up big time in the mines back in the day, I still felt like deep down he had the capacity to be a genuinely good guy and that he was trying to do so (even if he did try to kill me), he had become a lost soul and unfortunately made the BIG mistake of not being honest when shit hit the fan (and to be honest it's a pretty big deal to admit you are responsible for the accidental if not negligent deaths of 12 miners) and that initial withdrawal of truth ended up snowballing into something he couldn't take back, I imagine Typhon probably propositioned a means of "safety" for him that at the time due to his fear/guilt he didn't turn down. The lie (and the fear/guilt) eventually consumed him and became something outside of his control, sure at any time he could have admitted the fraud he was but I imagine as more time passed by, the harder it would have became for him, the lie was too big, the people now saw him as a hero and a good man and I guess deep down that's all he probably really wanted, I'm sure he didn't mean for those deaths to happen and he DID get those others miners out of there and I feel like he wanted to believe it was all just an unfortunate accident due to his own negligence and that he didn't mean for anyone to die. That.. and I know that carrying hatred in your heart for others does and will consume you too. I also decided to stay in Haven as this was such a great and small community (not to mention the amazing atmosphere/scenery!), I felt like we'd probably been searching for "home" for a long time and even though Gabe was gone, he has made good friends here, good friends that had become my good friends too, this was a place where Gabe had history, a place where I could properly learn more about who my brother was, he'd feathered a comfortable nest for us here and even thought the excitement of the unknown is enticing, we could always do that later, for now though I'll plant my roots here in the community that didn't turn it's back on me during that council meeting, I had their back and when the time came when it really mattered they all had mine too, what are the chances I'm gonna find something like that somewhere else? It's a gamble to leave but it's not a gamble I'm willing to take.. at least not right now.

The ending isn't much different tbh. Unlike LIS1 where you choose to sacrifice the town or save one human girl tbh.

I did relate to alex in a way and the story was nice some filer here and there but I really actually hoped that there is gona be a bad ending wehre alex will just be send to an asylum as no one believes her if you really fucked up with everyone...gona be honest I woud have enjoyed a bad ending it woud have given one the push to play agin and try to befriend everyone and be there for them all...I enjoed the game for what it is...of course that dosent mean the game can't be better I agree that isent that good but I enjoyed it for what it was hope ya peeps can understand that?

I like playing these games but I hate that your choice is really don't make much difference to the point where there's no replay value really.

i think true colors is the "bts" of lis3 with a real adventure of alex, and the endings will be important for further episodes (with or without steph/ryan ...)

I just watch RU-vidrs do run throughs of the game, don't play myself, and I'll say I thought lis2 was way more interesting. 3 got kind of slow in the middle for a while, and the endings weren't as tragic. I would like to know if anything changes if you tell Charlotte to except the pay off or if you sign off on the deal w the big company

This is a voice from all that has this gift. I got all the best ending even with Alex Brothers loss. It shows that Alex/ us ...only those born with this gift as Empaths, Remote viewer, Clairvoyant such as me and many others out there. This game really shows the truth of us with gifts and is not just a game is Truth. I cried from beginning to end. #Empath

Life Is Strange 1: Your choices matter, but at the end of the day they still boil down to the same 2 endings. However, those endings are a hard choice that will leave you thinking about them. Life Is Strange 2: There's pretty much a karma system. Good karma gives you 2 hard choices, bad karma gives you another 2 hard choices. 4 different endings with variations. Life Is Strange 3: Nothing matters, there is 1 single ending with a few variations. Let's hope the 4th game is better lol

There was somethign charming in Life is Strange 1. Loved the game, loved characters. Never found it again in other games from this series.

I was hoping to see the explanations for each character backing you up or not. That changes the ending. For example, Charlotte just disappears from Alex’s life and Ethan has to care for her BUT I HAVE NO IDEA HOW ONE GETS THAT ENDING???! Maybe if you kept Ethan’s secret? So Charlotte hates you that much?

I just finished (and platinumed) the game today, it was my first play through. I felt like tue story was pretty easy to puzzle out from the beginning (accept the dad being part of the story) but I would have liked more from this game. Thankfully I got it new for 29.99 CAD instead of 79.99. My second favourite game out of the story.

The character I felt bad for the most throughout this game, and I connected with most was Eleanor as my mother had Alzheimer’s, and it really hit me in the feels, during the vote she didn’t side with me which hurt, & neither did ducky, which also hurt because we had that cute moment in bar earlier in the game, luckily everyone else sided with me, apart from Ryan. But fuck ryan seriously, disliked him all through the playthrough 😢
