I played the Mick Ronson guitar part over this short backing track of the song "Life on Mars?" by David Bowie and I was very impressed how close I got the sound and playing.
Gear used:
Early seventies Gibson Les Paul Custom.
Manlay Sound overdrive pedal called "The Sound".
Amp is a Dynacord DA16/V clean.

Just stumbled upon this... lovely bell like Ronson tone and the stripped top Les Paul Custom just tops it off. Did you “Ronno” the guitar or buy it already modified?
