Laksa has many variation, and is often confusing.
Laksa Lemak, is reiterated by the Nyonya and is known as Nyonya Laksa. It is also known as Siam Laksa or Siamese Laksa in Penang. Many of you might even mistaken this dish with Curry Laksa (Singapore Laksa), but it isn't the same dish.
Together with Asam Laksa, this two noodle dish features a thick rice noodle base which we call 'Laksa Noodle' which is very similar to 'Lai Fun' in texture. Some places might even use 'Lai Fun' in their Laksa.
