@@theculturedthug6609 Agreed. Davis was prepared to play a fictional version of himself that was spectacularly unflattering and shallow at times. That takes real skill to pull off and still remain believable.
Warwick Davis was very understanding which was nice of him, I wouldn't be. He's proved loads of times that the world isn't there just to feel sorry for you so live with it as best you can. Focus on what you're good at because we all have a weakness .
This is an example of ingenious humour! The class making fun of wheelchair boy for reasons not related to the "elephant in the room" fact that he's in a friggin' wheelchair! The irony of the class seeing him as a normal guy, while we as the audience (and Warwick) turn out to be the judgmental ones. :-D
If your ever hankering for some Ricky Gervais after watching all his shows go on Spotify and listen to him, Steve merchant and Karl pilkigton on XFM radio. It is legitimately some of the funniest shit I've ever heard and an inspiration of a lot of his comedy. Also theres hundreds of episodes!
Lol when I found this a couple of months ago people were all like "it was funny until the tear" and shit, now everyones like lol I just shat myself laughing
This is genius, a dwarf confronting anyone is politically correct unless the person is a crippled kid in school that's being bullied. A sketch like this today would feature a trans, gay, black dwarf shemale. Winning every debate in life because what they identify as until they confront a person with no arms and no legs on national television. And...their argument falls apart. Ricky Gervais is a genius.
Laughed my self silly. At first Life's Too Short was a bit slow, but as the seven episodes got underway, it just kept throwing brilliant scene after brilliant scene at you. Just like this one, Ricky is the Anti-PC God. May he rise to power before it's too late.
just started watching this show and i LOVE IT! Warwick on this show reminds of a mix between Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm and Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) from The Office.
