Not really. The big bang theory has been changed how many times now? They have no clue. All atoms once belonged to a single atom? Impossible if you scientifically know what defines an atom.

Also you would skip that massive problem of time travel movies of "holy f, we suddenly can't go back". Who cares if it's five years ago when that happens am i right? At least you don't have to live in a cave to net get eaten by t-rex then
@@boratsagdiyev5679 why did you write that boring post rather than write something that Borat might have said, if you have the username you should at least stay true to character.
Stripper tripper. I feel that internet has given voice to all the idiots in the world. It is filled with idiots such as you and stupid shit comments. This also shows that your mind is like a gutter. All it thinks is a color of a person.
No one I know understands the comedic value Karl has, he never fails to make me laugh and I can’t quite explain why, he’s so ordinarily grumpy it’s hilarious
@@dummybugstudios6450 he's 100% legit and natural. He is a product of being exceptionally intelligent/ creative but at the same time lacking a formal education.
I think it's because he sees very clearly without any bull. He is a clever bloke with a great sense of humour and it's obvious he sees and thanks quite deeply about things to. He is the adult to Ricky Gervais's child, which is why he sometimes gets a little exasperated with Ricky. Even though I find Ricky extremely funny most of the time, he can be a bit of a prat. When he's a bit of a prat, he does have a way of pointing it out which really makes me smile and often laugh. Deadpan.
@@danielbooth5035 I don't think that's quite it. Someone that lacks a formal education usually is very interested in the same types of things formal education prioritises.
He's one of the most stupid people that ever lived. Everything he says is crazy. He's only interested in how things affect him. Evolution for example. He think's all life is trying to evolve into humans. What a pillock!!
@@tyroon81 His brain connects things differently than a lot of us. We should celebrate those differences in some definitions of the word he could literally be considered a genius. He may have such a basic understanding of many things but the way his brain connects ideas is a true treasure and if you don’t agree with me that it’s interesting, it’s at the least very entertaining.
Just heard an interview with him, where he says he doesn't want kids (partly) because he feels his genes shouldnt be passed on. For his level of intelligence, I'm honestly pleasantly surprised to know he's considered something like that.
He seems completely devoid of smugness or conceit. That's such a great and rare quality, whatever his flaws may be, that that alone makes him look to me like a great and admirable man.
My dad died of motor neurone disease last Christmas. I can't begin to express the 2 years of progressive suffering to that point. Absolutely love Carl but found that offensive ☹
I haven’t watched this video in ages and I’ve forgotten all of it but the fact that I know he’s on about Stephen Hawking before I’ve even rewatched it is incredible 😂😂
It’s actually the opposite. Karl asks genuinely smart & interesting questions about epistemology and questions like, what is the “self”. Meanwhile, Ricky likes to think of himself as a staunch empiricist & materialist but he pragmatically thinks and behaves as if he’s not.
@@danosdotnl I mean, I LOVE Karl, but people are reading into him too much. Ricky CAN be an arse, but Karl can be so profoundly ignorant it’s unreal. Borderline arrogant. He’s not this “deep profound genius” that people like to pretend he is.
Love, love love Karl Pilkington. I love how he speaks about things, how he looks at things, he's just so deep and never ever fails to cheer me up if I'm feeling down.
"he's wasting his life thinking about something that doesn't matter" - Karl hits the nail on the head - he is referring to what Theodore Kaczynski described as "surrogate activities" in Industrial Society and its Future - I think Karl and Ted would have a lot in common with regards to their world view, Karl just doesn't know it.
”You’re talking about space. When did it start, where does is end - it doesn’t matter. It really doesn’t matter” Actually a genuinely profound quote from Karl Pilkington
@@Christoff070 I don't know how everybody thinks that's the biggest issue. As if it'd be perfectly fine to throw our limited resources away into space like we can generate piles upon piles of trash infinitely. Yall not heard about recycling? But yeah, even if they were already sending a rocket to space everyday, there'd barely even be any room to carry 1% of the trash we produce in a day on it. The crew would be able to hold a bag of trash each. That'd be it. And no, that wouldn't cost much to the fuel already needed to get this heavy rocket off the ground. Like think of why people are against private jets. It's essentially one super rich person paying for everybody's seat to have a plane all for themselves. Waste of fuel. It'd be more efficient to let everybody on and split the bill. But these rich people's self importance matter more than sitting next to everybody else. Anyway, point was, most of the cost is in getting the vehicle itself moving, not the passengers. It's practically negligible with cars.
The wickedist thing is Ricky Gervais just can't comprehend ignorance is bliss. Karl's had an entire programme, travelled the world now, had a cartoon made about him and is more famous than most astronauts nowadays lol all from being himself and having his own point of view
Karl is really smart to be honest. Don’t stress by thinking about things that don’t directly affect our everyday lives. You can’t get smarter than that.
@@Komiksti Regardless, relatively not all that long ago in humanity's era, electricity was something that had zero impact on a persons daily life; the discovery of which was mostly due to simple curiosity. The first to discover and create electricity will have had absolutely no idea how profound an impact their experiments would eventually have on the entire human race, but here we are. Disregarding things that seemingly have no impact on us today seems so short-sighted, and we have no idea how these important these things may become to future generations
I would vote and trust Karl over any politician any day of the week, with Karl you always know where you stand, unfiltered thoughts, most of it is actually the simple truth ,why he's so brilliant
Apart from the completely wrong bits he is like a machine that tells you exactly what you need to hear with no filter and no second thoughts on what people think , it’s rare and purely admirable
As someone who struggles with being fed up and sick of it all the time, this guy really gives me hope. I’m a bit sad he’s been around for like 20 years now and I’ve only just started listening to him this past year. Was very happy to watch sick of it and looking forward to hopefully a long and brilliant career to come from Karl pilkington. Also Gervais as always is a brilliant and hardworking man who is one of my personal heroes even if sometimes I can’t stand his personality. His new series “After Life” was absolutely brilliant and I hope he decides to introduce Karl to the cast. Thanks for all your hard work gentlemen
@@josephmonti-kaye2487 everyone needs to listen to those compilations .. they are consistently funny even after me having them on repeat for years. The best 👌🏻❤️
I have read Karl Pilkington books, watched the TV series and the podcasts but I still prefer the one-one interviews they are TV gold haha, learning English with Ricky Gervais is the funniest thing on RU-vid 😂✌️
Watch the Derek outtakes can't remember which but in one of them you actually get to see Karl actually lose it an hysterically laugh but only once which makes it so much funnier that he's got people in fits all around him an he's still deadpan until this one moment.🤣
The best thing about Karl Is that if he really thought about it he is worth loads of money. But his humility doesn't see it. Oblivious!!! And that is incorruptible. A true human in a way. No distractions. No ego. Just I want my little life. That's all.
Ricky went from looking 50 (XFM and the Office timeframe) to then looking 30 (in this timeframe) then back to looking 50, then looking 40 again (during the Derek) and now he looks well into his 60's! He ages like he's on Shuffle or something.
Having watched the cartoons so much its crazy how the facial expressions are so accurate lol the fact that karl is genuinely like this is crazy😅 what a character
Awwwww I love the way Ricky strokes his mouth trying to contain his love and endearment as he giggles at his mate when Karl says "I'm into weird science " so cute . Propa brothers. They could not be any closer if they were. I think we all enjoy this not only because it's genuinely funny but because of the obvious love between them as friends. Lovely to witness.
I think they fell out when Karl didn’t want to do the last season of Derek. Nothing has come out with them together since. Ricky says they don’t work together because Karl changed too much after all the travelling but he’d finished an Idiot Abroad before Derek. Also Karl did his own series ‘Sick of it’ after Derek so it can’t have been that Karl didn’t want to act.
Came here to see all the retards claiming they’re not friends. I swear when you morons hear a rumor on the internet, you jump all over it. Think for yourselves for fuck sakes
