I'm Black and I don't think you were being racist. I can't remember what you said in that video, but if I was offended I would have unsubscribed. I can't speak for the whole Black community, but I personally didn't have a problem with it. We should be allowed to have our preferences; preferences when dating aren't inherently bad, but sometimes they can come from a place of prejudice (a lot of times they don't though). No one can force you to be attracted to someone you're not 🤷🏽♀️ There's such a divide now in society and as someone who grew up around people of different ethnicities, religious backgrounds, socio-economic status etc - I hate it so much! And you're right - despite what lip service ppl are giving, everyone is prejudiced against one person or another whether they want to admit or not

Also that's frustrating about the rude comment on your video. I'm sure it's hard to put yourself out there in these videos and have people feel like they "know" you and have the right to make accusations like that. Also I didn't think your comment came across as racist; I get having general preferences on who you're attracted to. It doesn't mean you devalue any certain group as people, just that you aren't usually attracted to them. 🤷♂️ There are couples of all kinds that are the same race, and I don't assume that means they're racist against everyone else. Just ignore random accusations. You don't have to justify yourself, and addressing trash comments like those are just bringing light to something that isn't there. Hope you recover on the job front, stay positive.

My friends even decide what I eat which is very dangerous because I have Type 2 Diabetes. I get yelled at for eating salad and veggies. It's seriously ridiculous and extremely dangerous to my health and well being. But unfortunately I don't have anywhere else to go.Low income housing is full and applications are not being taken. Even if I get on a waiting list it's 3-5 years to get a place.
I'm sending lots of good energy and love your way Brenda. That does sound so difficult... I really hope these people are looking out for your well being, I'm putting in extra thoughts, to hope that they do. Everything with time will get better. I believe that!
@@nicksrambleasmr Thanks so much!! 😊 I appreciate you more than I can say🥰 I think a lot of the problem is that that they don't fully understand diabetes and it's management. It's a very complicated illness. They have this crazy idea that it's in remission and I can eat whatever I want. I'm not in remission,in fact I'm worse now than I was 3 months ago.
