When my daughter was little we had two rabbits; two cats and one pom baby boy. They all played together in our tiny home. Loosing each animal over the years was awful because they all enjoyed each other so much. My daughter is now a mom and they have a cat and a dog but they haven’t gotten a rabbit yet but God stepped in and a wild or loose bunny now lives in their backyard! My daughter is so pleased 🩷

Dear Sophie- I completely understand you. I have a guinea pig and I know how complicated it can be to take care of them and the attachment we develop is nothing different to that of owning a cat or a dog. I sincerely feel for your losses. It was hard to watch because I know how it feels to lose these tiny adorable pets. Sending you a big hug.

So glad to see that things are getting better. I had a wakeup call regarding my weight last year and have worked on it. 60 pounds later, I feel lighter and more motivated. Its a work in progress as my body is adjusting hormonally to this thinner body, but I still feel its all been worth the had work. I hope 2024 brings new experiences and new sources of joy for you and all that reads this comment!

It really is….Our cats died when they were 16 and 18 years old. We had them since they were kittens (they were from one nest), and when the 18 year old died, it felt like our family was incomplete. 😢 We missed their presence so much, that we got two kittens again. I never thought I would feel so much love for them again, after losing our senior cats. 💞

You’re right, people don’t understand adults having rabbits! My girl is nearly 6 years old and is very prone to stasis, We lost her sister to complications of stasis in 2021. The grief I had for her was unmeasurable! It took me years to get over her death. They are house rabbits and fully litter trained to, The little girl I still have is doing well, believe me when I say she’s the only reason I get out of bed in a morning, She takes all my wages in hay subscriptions, toys, treats, insurance, bills and phone cables replacement😂.

@Sophieshohet My 10 year old bunny , my baby , who travelled to 26 countries was KILLED by the Spanish vet by holding her so tight , my bun screamed but the vet didnt let her go until she screamed 3x and tried to run to me and died half way. I was so crushed , I thought I am going crazy. I am not afraid to die anymore hoping she will be there waiting for me.

Hello Sophie I hope you are doing all the things you love. I am sorry to hear about your rabbit? I think you answered your own question very quickly, the rabbit was only meant to be with you for a short period of time . If it was not well then it is probably in a better place now. Unfortunately we are now living in times where people are not what we think they should be. Ie loved ones should love us unconditionally yet that is not happening. So much death, desertion, deception and people bent on destroying or taking revenge on those they feel have put them in this position. Life has to go despite all its faults. Make a safe and secure environment for yourself and your husband. We can not be afraid of what is to come. We must solider on grasping the future that awaits us, inshala. Maybe I’ve gone a bit too deep but that is what I think and it gives me hope for a better understanding of what the future could hold. Talk good care of yourself.

I had a Dwarf rabbit, her name was Kudy....she died couple of days after she turned 8 years old, just like that. We let her out in the garden cause she loved it, and after half of hour found her " sleeping " near our roses. I thought i would die of sorrow and so much crying. I totally fainted couple of years later when i opened a fridge in a supermarket and they had whole refrigerated rabbits. ...i felt sick. They are such lovely pets. So smart. I had her before my kids were born, she loved my daughters, she used to follow them all over the house and she would jump on our bed to cuddle with us.....your video made me cry. Even if it's been 12 years since she is gone. ❤

I'm so sorry about Cooper. :( I can relate to so much of what you said. I had 3 Holland Lops. The first we adopted, he was really old and we had to put him down but he was the friendliest little guy and it was just his time. The other two were from the same litter, and passed 2 years apart. I miss them all so much, they were such special little muffins. But bunnies are so sensitive and things can go wrong so fast. Some people don't understand how hard it is to lose a pet, especially bunnies, but I can completely relate to the difficulty you had with Louis (Louie?*)/Cooper's loss.

Great video! Sorry to hear you lost another rabbit! As far as weight goes, I think women get a bad rap, we should be able to say what we weigh! What you weigh on a scale is only one piece of a very complicated and complex equation. I'm 46, weigh 175 lbs, 5' 9" and I wear a size US 2- 4 - so I'm not worried. Going through an Eating Disorder is something that a lot of women (or should I say Disordered Eating learned from my Mom, who learned it from her Mom, etc, but my daughter doesn't know her weight and is as thin as a rail - we only weight at the Doctor's) anyway, is something you should be very proud of accomplishing. I say women, eat like men, they love it with their "gains" - I have a 17-year-old Ice Hockey-playing son who's all muscle and at 6' 1" and 186 pounds is technically "overweight", but his pants fit my size 0 daughter. Again, this obsession with the scale has got to stop. Thank you for this video, definitely sheds light on a world-wide obsession with pounds/kgs/stones, etc.!

You absolutely have the right to talk about weight loss. I remember you said that training with weights works better for you. Honestly, I’ve been training for 12 years with weights. Initial results are very quick, cause your body is adapting. Then it slows down. But last year I tried running, I was doing half marathons. And honestly, everything fell into trash, mental health, muscle mass, hunger, etc. I gained fat and lost muscle lol. Although I kept strength training 2-3x weekly. But it wasn’t productive, as I didn’t have much energy left after running 4 times a week. Again, it depends on the person and doing something you truly enjoy to be consistent with it. Considering my PCOS and hypothyroidism, there’s nothing better than strength training, honestly. Hope this helps someone

I'm also trying to gain more muscle and lower my fat percentage. The heaviest weight ive been was 11 stone 11 and I lost 10 pounds over the course of 1 year. This year I want to lose 14 pounds/ 1 stone. I'm doing it slowly though so I can keep it up by changing my lifestyle for the better rather than quickly trying to lose weight. Ive been doing dumbell weight exercises at home and I am very happy I find it easier to get myself up off the floor, lifting things and carrying shopping is easier as well as my arms look stronger. Oh I am short though at 5 ft 1

Condolences on the loss of both of your pets. I had dwarf lop rabbits when I lived in Victoria, Australia, and they were gorgeous. Just loved them. I was happy to hear things are going better for you this year. Losing pets is the worst and I don't think the species matters much. When we bond with anything and lose that bond, it's devastating. I don't subscribe to the idea of a hierarchy of grief depending on the animal. I'm glad you and David are beginning to move beyond the grief and that you're feeling better from the inside out. Congrats on your health and fitness wins. PS- I think it's really funny that you have one sort of "anti-social" rabbit and you guys just let her be her.

Then I gained back 16. With intermittent fasting (eat during 8 hour stretch, fast 16) & walking, so far I've lost 8.⚖️Chronic challenge. I totally agree that weight issues are a dysfunctional coping mechanism. For now we'll celebrate good times!🎊🤗🌻

weight training is so important! I always tell people to go to gym to lift things rather than run. And when people start doing weight training their body will look better but the body mass might actually stay the same or even get higher, so the measurement tape or your clothes are more accurate than weight scale to prove you're making improvement in body composition. Happy training for everyone! I am pregnant at the moment so my goal right now is to stay active and to prevent body aches. Pregnancy is very hard mentally because your body is changing quickly and at least in my eyes my body looks like I've just gotten fat over night🤭 I think it will get better when the pregnancy belly is obvious to others so that I don't have to feel conscious about looking just fat to others...

For me personally, I think it is all about growth and learning while we are here. It is so difficult to lose our pets, I have felt that pain too, it is always difficult, I am sorry for the loss of your boys. You are spot on about eating disorders, I was bulemic for 7 years of my life, had some professional help and one day gave it up, that was 40 years ago, I agree about moving on and knowing you will never go back there. I'm so sorry about your rabbits! They're so sweet, but because they're bred indiscriminately, they're very fragile and can die suddenly.

We lost our first free roam bunnie last February. He was 5. It was completely devastating for us. It’s been a year and still dealing. Totally understand ❤

Sophie; the link for the sneakers aren’t taking me to the actual sneaker. It is taking me to the Nike site, but it’s displaying a whole different type of sneaker.

I'm thinking that the people who prefer it when things are going badly for others are the ones that aren't in a good way themselves, maybe it helps them feel better if someone is having a worse time of it than they are. Hopefully, it can help them to stop thinking that they're the only ones in a particular situation and help them get through it. I personally appreciate the honesty of sharing bad times, if only because it helps dispel the myth on social media that other people's lives are perfect. But if I'm being honest, I prefer it when things are going well, just because I want the best for others.❤

Your rabbits are SO adorable. I used to have a grey floppy ear rabbit when I was a kid, who became a monster (in weight, not character!) and we tried so hard to house break him but it was next to impossible. He was definitely like a cat, loved to scratch anyone who picked him up!

Glad to hear that you're in a good place I've lost 24 lbs to now where I'm feeling healthy n good too. I know that I'm happiest at a lower weigh, but it wasn't easy 🎉

My heart broke all over again watching those videos of Cooper. Losing pets is so hard. About the rest, I also need to get back into working out. I usually go swimming a lot but I was sick with the flu and it’s so cold outside that I haven’t gone in a month. I don’t really care about the weight but I really need it for my mental health.

I’m so happy you’re doing better Sophie. It sucks to see people be jealous of others’ achievements and happiness. We should all celebrate each others’ successes. Take care X
