Thanks for updating us on your move and future plans. I think an exhibition type layout is a fantastic idea. Firstly, it will be fully portable, so no problem when you do eventually move to a permanent home. Secondly, it will give you a goal to aim for and finally, it will be somewhere for all your locos to be able to stretch their legs. I look forward to seeing what you come up with, knowing you it will be worth waiting for. Good luck with the move at the end of this month.
Well Susannah, you called this a life update and wow you sure gave us that. I thought by now you must have moved. Things always work out, we just can't see the way sometimes. I had no doubt that you would be thinking about your next layout, don't plan too strongly at the moment. Wait until you're settled things will be clearer then. In the meantime anything you have to share with us I shall watch eagerly. You mentioned Reading in this video, I spent a few hours there on the 25th. Sept. trainspotting. What a nice new station that is. I shall have a video from there sometime over the winter. Hi Susannah, try not to worry, (I know that's easy to say from here) your true supporters will always be here, there was a time when I was without a layout, it took me 20 yrs to get my trains up and running, I used the time in between layouts by servicing my loco's and running on a oval, do what you can when you can, best of luck in your new home, I wish you only the best for the future, regards Mark
Hi Susannah. Great to hear you're doing ok apart from the stress of the enforced move. The exhibition layout idea sounds like a good move . At least with it being sectional , you can move it and knowing sods law as they call it , you'll get in the new place and get a layout up and the housing association etc in Alton will offer you a place , at least with an exhibition layout you can lift it & shift it to the new location when it comes up without too much aggro. Sounds a good idea helping out with the exhibition layout as it'll give you some experience for when you do yours. look after yourself and all the best with the move :-)
susannah: please hang in there. moving is very stressful especially when it is unexpected. hang in there. you do look stressed out. perfectly understandable. hold off on any layouts until you are settled. best of luck to you. God be with you.

You’ve certainly fulfilled a show layout or on the way to filling that dream in Oct2018, and Live YT feeds, you may have thought, never in a million years, and what, now ‘Rails and Judy’, you Rock Girl, where others would have fallen long time ago, You certainly know how to manoeuvre your self to every obstacle in your way, you have smashed them all. looking for a place to suit is hard enough when one wants to move. but to have a dead line just makes it rough and terifiying.. thanks for the up date and keep your chin up, the next place might be a stepping stone. or a new beginning for a long stay. get your self settled, small track plan, maybe a dog bone style. and things will squeek together
