LIFE UPDATE: We're getting a Dachshund Puppy! | Miniature Dachshund UK 

Awww cracking news on all fronts, and welcome back! 😁👍

Congratulations on little Norma. We just got a new puppy from our breeder and brought her home last week. Our girl was born on April 12th so just a few days difference from, Norma. We called our girl Pickle 😀 She's a mini black and cream dapple. So far, so good with the introduction to our current pack of 3 adults. I think it helps that one of our girls is a retired Mom from our breeder so she's very tolerant with puppy crazies. 😂😂 We're like you, a mix of rescues and puppies, which works just fine for us. And we always deal with the same breeder who we adore. I'd love to see how you work your new baby into the current pack. So many of your tips have been helpful for our pack--things like the group feeding. They love that. Great update and looking forward to everything you have coming in the future. Sooo happy for you!!!! I checked into another dachshund about a month ago and they were already sold...I kept the breeders number...I lost my oldest one a year and a half ago...she was a sweetheart!!! My other one seems to have adapted. As I am now retired and home a lot...altho I think another one would be good for her...haven't taken her for walks as the temp for the past month has been 90 to 100 degree's f. Way to hot...funny I was just thinking about not having seen a video from you recently...yes if you have time more videos

So much exciting news! I’m also getting a new female mini dachshund in a few weeks, Ella. She was born April 30th. Short haired chocolate and tan. Same breeder as my beloved 13 1/2 year old red smooth male, Toby, who died last August 2nd. It was impossible to get any dogs during the pandemic here in Canada. So I am so excited for my new companion. Would love to see any videos, and especially how it goes with the new pup.

Hey, what a great news!!! And you are getting a puppy from Russia!!! You won’t regret it! Lines in Russia are in general really good. I have one smoothhair mini brown tan girl 26 months and one longhair black tan boy rabbit size 14 months from the lines of champions and I am soooo in love with both of them. Great health, great charachter and they are sooo beautiful. And there is so many great breeders in Russia. My breeder fed them raw, so no problems with that. I live in Slovenia, Europe, so importation in these days was the difficult part. Luckily I know the language. But don’t worry with her being four months when she arrives. The wait is difficult, though 😏. I am so excited for you!!! Take a loooots of pictures and enjoy her!

hi lenny, i've been looking at getting a dachshund puppy and plan on crate training. my only concern after watching alot of your videos is that i have a cat that uses a litter inside and its not possible to have the litter in a different room than the puppy if o got one. would it be possible to toilet train a puppy when i have a kitty litter in my house.
