Solid Sam I agree with keeping weapons from stupid people but this lil thing ain’t gon do much given that is a single shot pistol that has to be unfolded and prepped for fire. Shit a hi point 9mm with 10rnd mag costs literally half that.
Haven’t been following to long, but I really have enjoyed your videos. You seem to be a down to earth humble guy, which is appreciated. Best wishes to you.
I feel like people are forgetting the fact that this is more for looks. I don't know many guns that look like a phone/wallet. I only see that stuff in movies or comics. You are basically paying for the look rather than the pistol itself. And as a bonus, it actually shoots. TLDR: Great for looks, not so great for consistent defense.
It really needs the ability to open and shoot it 1 handed, heaven forbid you ever actually need this thing, to get it ready to shoot you would have to call a time out.
If you got it loaded you can easily just open it up 2 hands and switch safety off and bam although reloading probably takes more time and much longer. So just hit yer shots
I know it’s asking a lot from an engineering perspective, but if they could somehow make this a double barrel to provide a second shot it would make it a much more viable option, even if it was slightly wider to accommodate the extra barrel.
If your regular range time Includes aiming as often as you fire, you train the body to I instinctively assume an aiming stance so that your body is aiming, but the gun is pointed. For close range use, like 3 to 5 yards, it could hit center mass
You even call it a novelty not. A backup or last resort 🤔🤗 option so where does this single shot fit in your opinion cause u just mentioned point vs aim and did not disucess any real life carry effects of single shot 22 mag
is anyone ever noticed that he sounds like the Bob Ross of guns. He's like let me try and hit one of those little red flippers. Nope just below. His wording is very Bob Ross like but with firearms.
The backup to my backup is a 12 gauge. Depending on the mood I’m in. Sometime I use the 12 gauge first and my glock 23 is the backup. But usually don’t need a backup after the 12 gauge. ;)
There was one thing I was shocked about this clip. It was not even that gun. I was used to this that guns in US could be pretty clever. What shocked me was 5:16 when you explaining direction by terms of driver side and passenger side as something more obvious to the left or right. And no, I'm not from Britain. ;)
This little gun is perfect when you need a tiny single-shot gun but don't want to carry any of the numerous cheaper, tiny, multi-shot guns. Which is pretty much never.
I got one of these for Christmas.,its the 22lr version which is cool as hell and very small..I've shot 22lr,22short and I like shooting those 22lr shot shells....good thing they sell the 22wmr barrel conversion
If the price point on this one, or the .22LR version was not so damn high, then I could see this being a very well liked in the EDC community when combined with the holster as a gun that does not get it the way, and/or for the fact it does not look like a normal gun, meaning you would not scare people who are afraid of guns in general.
i like it because bein a female with arthritis I don't have enough strength for a Glock , this is perfect for my purse , and not heavy like my 38. just have to make sure I hit the bulls eye
@@nancynone8193 I hear you, but with the price point of this, there are just so many other carry options in .22WMR, or .22LR for a purse gun that are easy to fire. Just look up 22plinkster who did a video a while ago about about his carry recommendations.
Out of that Barrel is 22 or 22 Magnum won't make much of a big difference, the Magnum powder charge won't get enough burn to make it that much more powerful you be looking to gain 10 foot pounds of energy. But it's still cool
There is some ammo available with quick burning powder made for handguns, also having a real jacket on a bullet makes a big difference compared to the lr
@@TheTeehee11111 agree with you on the jacket... i doubt out of this barrel length the powder will make much of a difference.... but my channel's not big enough for them to send me one lol...
Oaks have genuinely amazing lenses, and they're one of the few sets of glasses that sit on my Muay Thai-smashed face without falling off, being loose, OR being too tight.
@@darthkek1953 Just checking. I had to get a special pair of Oakleys to work in an area with extreme sun glare, so I'll say not everybody who buys Oakleys would necessarily be interested in this product, but I'm going to guess a lot of the purchasers of this product wear Oakleys.
@@bluehealer81 they make a wide range of lenses, high glare is one, aviator, etc., some designed for individual sports eg golf filters to see a white ball against green. Mine are a tint that works well (not perfectly) in high light but also low light, for me they were MTB so I can go in and out of woods at relatively high speed and not be blind. So some posers wear Oaks, sure, but not all Oaks wearers are posers.
DUDE i just LOVE the hustle and bustle of the big city, it’s so DYNAMIC and makes me feel like i’m in one of my favourite TV SHOWS like JOHN WICK!!!! you should totally come on down to my studio apartment, it’s got EXPOSED RED BRICK walls and everything, we can crack open a nice hoppy ipa or three and get crazy watching some cartoons on adult swim! and dude, dude, DUDE, we have GOTTA go down to the barcade- listen here, right, it’s a BAR where us ADULTS who do ADULTING can go DRINK. BUT!!!! it’s also an ARCADE like when we were kids, so we can play awesome VIDEO GAMES, without dumb kids bothering us. speaking of which megan and i have finally decided to tie the knot- literally -we’re both getting snipped tomorrow at the hospital, that way we can save money to spent more on ourselves and our FURBABIES. i’m fuckin JACKED man, i’m gonna SLAM this craft beer and pop open another one!!!
@Lil Heinz94 what modern guns are you referring to because I can't think of any concealed gun that states or claims it's not made for aiming and if u don't think a 9mm can penetrate a skull then youre obviously not a gun enthusiast
THANK YOU very much for the video and demonstration. You really put it across on the benefits of having one of these little beauties. Maybe it is a novelty, but like you said; "better than a sharp stick"...Thanks again.
it's a nice try at a last, last defense. most attackers won't know it's a single shot. so it's better than a sharp stick. giving it a second barrel would make it more desirable. i have a 21A and a PT-22. if i get another pea shooter, it'll be a NAA revolver, getting 5 shots out of the same size.
The price point is too high for what it is. You could get a Ruger LCP for $50 less! It's just as easy to carry in the pocket, and you have 6 rounds of 380 With the option of extra magazines. The ammo is cheaper, and more plentiful, at least where i'm from. It is cool though, at least it has that going for it.
$400 Lifecard... Academy Sports lists the LCP at $200, half price... My Ruger EC9s was $220 for 9mm, 7+1. Just grabbed a few hundred rounds of Blazer Brass 9mm for 11 cents a round; .22LR is usually 10 cents a round, finding .22wmr for 18 cents a round. A Lifecard is definitely a novelty, and an expensive one, at that.
@@breadman32398 My original point, was that this is way overpriced, for what it is. On top of not being a good defense gun, is just a nail in the coffin.
Under 5 seconds to use, you have a gun that wont commit mass chaos but can save you from a freak incident or more importantly have on hand for survival. I think a holster with slots or chamber for 20-50 more rounds and clip to attach inside pant waist and you have the ultimate end all for the need for bigger hand guns. Its a fact most situations that require hand guns are avoidable or so abrupt that its hard to assess the need for lethal force. Once aimed its shoot to kill or be imprisoned. With this its just enough to stop someone/something or greatly slow without unethically or unintentionally ‘murdering’ someone. Plus this, a knife, flint, and water purification packs could keep you alive for weeks. Or simply save a life. Awesome.
@@Icutmetal the real joke is so called suppoters of the second amendment are fine with the orange man telling you that you lost your bumpstock privilege and if he wants he will take your guns before you face a court the first president since Lincoln to try to suspend habius corpus and talk about just how great he is
@@BitchyBoxxy it needs a rethink , the key benefit is that it doesn't print , it looks like a mobile phone , it would be better if it had a two shot capacity but as a sealed unit , with no easy reloading . That would be more useful for self protection.
You can still count on an extra 100 fps. Then it just depends on the projectile weight as to how much more energy you're getting, but yeah... you do lose a lot of the advantage by having the bullet exiting a shorter barrel.
@@rodneyws1977 I wish people would consider cost vs. benefit more than they do though. If the actual gain is important enough to them then fine. However, too many buyers simply fall into the "magnum" trap without doing research. Part of the research being 3X the price. Oh well. It's their money. 😀
People are complaining about price, and I'll argue the point that you can buy a snub .38 or .357 for about 200-260, but I think this gun is a good design for not wanting people to know you have a gun. Price will drop as the company works towards cheaper materials, it's just a matter of time.
I got one of these little things, the threaded 1, when people see this thing folded up they have no idea what it is, that’s exactly how I like it, I kinda wanna get a suppressor for it just for giggles, also you can get a red dot on it but that’s kinda much, I’ll keep it stock so the disguise doesn’t make it too obvious when I’m in certain places, I see people saying they’re $400, they are not. Not all work places let you have firearms in company vehicles so 🤷♂️ I’ve always said it’s either me or them. It’s perfect for someone who does lots of traveling like myself & where i live there’s some really sketch areas…what the boss doesn’t knows doesn’t hurt me, even if it’s not much it’s something until i get home where i keep my bigger guns.
I get a kick out of all the folks saying “that isn’t a gunnnnn” “buy a useful oneee”. What if you already have 2 safes full of “real ones” and like it for range time and because it’s a fun conversation piece? Amazing to me what this little credit card can do. I appreciate it for what it is. A good time and last resort carry. Relax guys…don’t be overly masculine to not appreciate such a cool piece of equipment.
A factor of this gun that most people don't take into consideration is concealment. Not for the size of the weapon, but the fact that it doesn't look like a gun. That could prove important in situations where you might be disarmed of any of your weapons that you had concealed- this firearm could be missed
If you're getting disarmed of a regular handgun, you're getting disarmed of this as well. It's getting picked up on a metal detector, I'm sure most high end security is aware of it. Its for novelty only. I'd rather just stick someone with a pocket knife in a self defense situation.
@Matt C I don't imagine a thug on the street regularly carries a metal detector. If they got the drop on you and pulled your standard sidearm off you, it could lull them into a false sense of security and give your incognito weapon an opportunity.
I agree in limited situations. Seems like something someone would keep in their desk at work or something. If you open it up to grab a file or something and someone (a client or coworker) sees it, it doesn't look like a firearm if someone gets a fleeting glimpse of it. I can see a few people breaking some company policies with this. I wouldn't personally buy one, but I would think it's most appealing to people who are not supposed to have a firearm somewhere.
Woah... that gave me an idea. There is a grenade launcher shell call the Hornets nest that sgoots 9-12 22lrs at once. The flashlight shooting say... 6, to resemble a 6 LED light, at once.... id like my chances
Pretty good for when you want to carry but don't want to scare off people. Plus it never hurts to carry one more gun even if it a single shot. But mostly because of the novelty. In fact mainly for a go to hell bag.
1 that would play too much into the hands of gun ban activists. 2 the purpose of conceal carry is to preserve life, not to end it. Optimally, you never have to use your gun to take a life, even if you are forced to draw it. If you carry a weapon with the mindset of using it to kill someone... I find that concerning.
@@mikeyerke3920 Hmmm... Can't say I'm too hip on the latest movie references, daddy-o. I'm an old soul at heart, don't have time for all these newfangled media gizmos :P
Giin I gotcha. Actually, calling cards were sometimes left on dead enemy soldiers in Vietnam by American troops. That’s what the original comment was intended to convey in a humorous manner.
