Had this come out in 1992, every hip record store clerk would be gushing about Lifeguard. Serious early 90s Louisville vibes (Slint, Rodan). Great dynamics without too much ornamentation, just the way I like it. Fucking great.

This band is crazy good. Especially for their age. I am an old Dischord records fan (Fugazi, Bluetip, Q and Not U, Faraquet) and these guys fit right in with that vibe.

Great song. Great video. Finally some interesting new music to get into. Best band I've heard in a long while. I'm hearing early PiL, Gang of Four, Joy Division, Unwound and lots of other influences. Good taste in instruments too. All good stuff. Keep it up fellas.
