Why does watching this make me happy (I'm a chemist from New England.)? I would have loved the danger and on the spot troubleshooting when I was younger., plus the cool big rig equipment! I wish you were on the east coast! Josh and crew, thanks for filming! Keep safe and always take your time to triple check. Be well!
@@jefferyhubbard3532 sad but even the most well built things can only last for so long and by law aircraft can only fly for so long carrying passengers at that point they either become cargo planes or get scraped. same goes for my Land Cruiser i take good care of her but sooner or later she is going to meat the scrap yard and the Australian animals don't help i hit a kangaroo the other week need a new bull-bar i was thinking about getting a bull-bar upgrade any way.
The plane in the background is one I'm very familiar with. It's Qantas 747-400 VH-OJU "Lord Howe Island". I know because it's the only 747 left in the Qantas fleet with the Rolls Royce RB211-524G engines, and that is the engines on that plane. Just sayin'. ;)
Mr. Pepe, one word of advice, I know you are concentrated in the task at hand but please, don't shake your head rapidly, you are making us dizzy!!!! 🤪 🤪 😵 😵 😵 😵 . Other than that great job!!!!
We don't tow these. They arrive at LAX and we lift them off the trailers to set on the floor, or lift them up to set them on trailers. $250/hr is a pretty decent hourly rate depending on the area.
I personally love them. I run them on all my rotators and have done some beast lifts and recoveries. I've heard horror stories from other people about them, but have personally had no issues with them.
