I've been pretty sure I am a light summer; however, not only made me certain, but explained how I could tell. You gave me information I hadn't heard anywhere else, for example, the detail on eye color and color of my veins. Who knew? You did! Bravo!

I feel I am a light summer but the fact that my natural hair colour is a light golden blonde (and not light ash blonde) always confuses me to then think I may be a light Spring. I don’t think I’ll ever know for sure unless I have a professional analysis done. 😢 I’d really like to revamp my wardrobe but am putting it off until I know for sure what season and subcategory I am.

@@nemessisx7627 same, I felt I could wear both gold and Silver and that confused me too. Silver being cool and gold being warm. But after watching Carol analyse her sister recently who is a summer I finally realised I am a neutral cool light summer. As a neutral you can wear both silver and gold. As a light summer the gold needs to be light (and not too yellow/warm) it all started to make sense and fall into place when I realised this. (I can also wear rose gold, but out of the three if I’m being honest Silver does look the best on me.) You may be a neutral too? Hence you can wear both gold and silver.

I have hazel eyes, extremely neutral fair skin, and blonde hair-but I feel like the palette for summer fits me so much better! Hard to decide.

Me too. Definitely warm eyes that are green hazel. Coloring my hair copper or rich warm brown looks really good on me. But with my natural light blonde hair with mixed shades, light skin with pink undertones and blue-green veins that support silver and pearl jewelry rather than gold, I just don't know. Gold works ok and better if I color my hair to a warm darker color. I think I'm just light with mixed cool and warm coloring. I can definitely work colors from both palettes just by matching them with my make-up. I have lipstick and blush in both cool and slightly warmer tones.

What if you hit all the light summer categories except the hair? Everything about me is a light summer but my natural hair colour is a m golden/strawberry blonde with some ashy tones... Its weird because i have red undertones/pigmentation so in certain light (like in summer), my hair looks darker/reddish to dark blonde and in say florescents it looks like a mix between med golden to ashy blonde. I have one outfit that i think really compliments me and its like an icy blue/periwinkle blue colour so definitely cooler tone but both gold, silver, and rose gold look good on me. Figuring out colours is confusing.

I’m Both. Ash colors hair, Cool To neutral Skin, grey blue eyes. Both colors in light summer and light spring look good on me. I can do warm red and platinum Ash blonde and look great

This is very helpful. I’m very fair . My mother was a summer however I do look better in gold unless it’s a very bright almost while silver. I look better in ash blonde hair. My makeup is neutral fair. I always thought I was a bright spring but I’m leaning now to summer. The gold jewelry threw me off.

I've always been told that I'm a summer but my veins are mostly green so that makes the explanation confusing.. I definitely look best in cold and clear colours (light summer palette). I don't burn easily in the sun (no redness in my skin), blue eyes and light blond hair

I suit bright spring colors but I suit the gray and navy neutrals better than creams and tans. I think I might be neutral but I wear silver jewelry, anything muted washes we out. I have blond her and extremely bright light blue eyes with dark navy outer rims. I’m light skinned but I also tan in the summer. Can I be both light spring and summer?

I recently had colour analysis done by lady with 24 years experience. I was advised I'm light summer. I have grey hair, it's almost white at the front, my eyes are grey, but do have yellowish star burst patten, my skin is pale and slightly on the warm side. When I was young my hair had golden fair tones, I was never ash blond. I am still somewhat confused. I can only think my grey hair was the overriding element and that when younger I would have been light spring.

What left me confused is the eye colour. I have light eyes for sure, but they are more gray than blue or green. I also have central heterocromia (yellow around the pupils). How does this affect my season?

I cant figure out for the life of me which one i am. I have characteristics of both. I have neutral leaning warm skin but i will burn in the sun, i have blue green eyes with a little yellow around the pupil but have naturally ashy light brown hair void of any warmth. I gravitate toward silver jewelry but can wear gold if its not too yellow but champagne gold probably looks better. Im just confused

@@danaconnolly8574 the more im looking thru pictures and makeup colors and wardrobe colors I'm beginning to feel like I'm definitely a summer. Probably closest to a soft summer but not 100%. I thought I had neutral leaning warm skin but what I have read is that soft summer can sometimes think they have yellow tones because they are right beside soft autumn which is warm toned. So I think I've gotten closer to narrowing it down but honestly without paying to get an actual color analysis done on me I may never know for sure

It's confusing for some of us summers. As a non-descript Summer (neutral-to-slightly cool, equally light & muted, bluish-greenish-greyish eyes, and naturally mushroom-blond hair - slowly darkening) I don't fit 100% into any of the sub-seasons well. Light Summer pastels are too light for my skin and Soft Summer is too dark & muted. Summers greens make me look red, while summer lavenders make me look yellow. So I'm in a comfortable 'rut' of mid-intensity, light-to-mid value, cool blues (Sky blue, Mediterranean blue, oxford blue) which brings out my eyes and balances my skin. I came to (DIY) color analysis to expand my color choices, but ended up only picking up a few dusty mauve tee-shirts. Curious if other summers have this same experience! (Funny thing is Redditers say I'm Soft Autumn, Light Spring, Soft Summer, Cool, Maybe Olive - all over the map!)

Still confused 😭. My skin is fair neutral/cool but my eyes are green hazel and my hair is somewhere between golden brown and strawberry blonde (depending on the season). Honestly I think I'll never get to know my season and pallet unless I get a professional consultation😅

I took a personal test in color lover and my results are either light spring or muted summer. I have a yellowish medium skintone, with natural black hair, and dark brown eyes. But I noticed that light brown / ash brown hair color with highlights goods look on me. So I am confused which color palette will suit me well. I usually wear black, white, yellow, blue clothes

It is very unlikely you will be a light spring or a muted summer if your natural haircolor is black. Because black is a very bright and deep color and lacks grey. You are probably the opposite of muted. I would try the winter palettes and the bright spring pallette if I were you.

Everything about me is light summer except for my hair. I have fair skin with pink undertones/blue veins, my eyes are a hazel blue that is usually a grey blue, green, or grey. Sometimes certain colors can bring out a brighter blue but usually not, and the pattern on my iris looks like that broken glass. HOWEVER…my hair has very bright and brassy natural blonde and red highlights, sometimes I look dirty blonde and others I look auburn. 🤷🏼‍♀️
