That does look good. Definitely one I would consider. I need to get Rivendell first though! Do you think it’s better to incorporate these type of things as you build as opposed to going back after it’s fully built?
To be honest I don’t know if it would be easier or not, the kits are designed for sets already built so probably easier to build a set then add lights after, especially as you pin some of the trailing wires behind other built bricks
Light kits do enhance Lego sets to another level and with some sets like modulars bring out the interior details. When I finally get round to getting my Lego room sorted and build my backlog I might look into these kits. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on them 👍
Yeah they really do make Lego sets stand out, I would love to one day have every set with a light kit but that wont be cheap so probably best used for special Lego sets
To be fair most of the wires are hidden out of view and the ones you can see could be a little tighter but I was overly cautious not wanting to break any of the wires, I definitely think the trade off is worth it, had it lit up on my shelf tonight, looks quite lovely 🙂
Yeah light kits are quite amazing, I would love all my sets to have them but that would require a heft amount of money, especially considering how many Lego sets I have😂
@@brickeezy yeah that’s exactly it, though for special sets like Rivendell they are probably well worth the extra cost, I certainly will be lighting up Barad-Dur at some point🙂
