The exhaust change is due to noise regulation ordinances many cities (starting with Paris all the way to Los Angeles) are enacting. The LAPD pull stock exotics over for no reason and cite them for loud exhausts. Same in Paris. So manufacturers are finding ways around this the best way possible.
If I remember correctly the way cops measured exhaust noise was to rev the car to 2,500 - 3,000 rpm. This system would maintain noise compliance no matter which mode you are.
yep, now they'll take away the major advantage ICE has over EV - sound. Its going to take a mass uprising from the world car community to reverse what the environmentalists have done.
@@adrian2948 Most cars today are built to meet global ordinances, not local. Lamborghini supplies the same muffler system for the entire world's deliveries of Tecnicas. There are exceptions to this, but when a brand offers a global vehicle such as a Huracan, it's usually built to comply globally, not per region.
Love it!! I'm glad to see someone else did the Ad Personam for the interior! I did the same thing, but with Verde Scandal for mine. The amount of panels the factory makes contrast color was just too overbearing. I 10000% agree about the exhaust valves, its my number one gripe about my Tecnica.
Dragtimes Awesome Video I think it's awesome that your Huracan Technica can do a 10.95 1/4 on the Streets in Damp Conditions and I can't wait to see same Drag Strip testing
@@vettesweetnosNegative. I’ve driven all of them. The Technica is the best overall of the whole series. The Sterrato is the best one to daily if one actually wants to daily one of these things.
@@TheRobSJ he obviously hasn't driven both lol.... my evo RWD retuned steering was lightyears better than my old Perf which was sloppy (the dynamic steering package)... I hated it, went loose when you didnt want it to be felt so unnatural STO/Technica even better than Evo which I already find great!
@@asfdaigjusadjfepijfadfto drive? Technica steers/turns better. And of course the power difference. Personally I prefer the EVO front end over the new Technica, but the new rear end is an improvement.
Hy, you can say what you want, this is (for me) defently the coolest Color i have ever seen on a Lamborghini. The weight of the car is ok and i think it make very much fun when you have enough space on the road and no cops are near you 😉 Thanks for the ride LG aus NRW (Germany)
I'm glad to have my Aventador 50th Anniversario in Giallo Maggio which sounds like an ear deafening F1 engine with an aftermarket exhaust and tune. Still miss my Huracan in Verdes Mantis but that blue is nice too.
I would guess the valve open and close thing is because on the evo when they are always open its too loud all the time and never quiet unless Strada. so opening and closing valves balances it. just a guess based on renting a few of them 🤷♂
Brooks, I think you do some real unique “reviews” when you show us your new cars! I know of no other CarTuber who actually weighs their car! A true user review in my opinion. The green on the Urus was mean though, real nice. And I don’t even like green!
I'm taken a guess on the Valves... I pretty sure the engine is maximizing the need on the exhaust to maximize the horsepower. At higher rpm it needs to blow out more exhaust so the valves open to release the pressure.
I am NOT impressed with that 0-60. RUN THAT SHIT BACK til you reach 2.7, .8 or . 9. Nor am i impressed with 7.32 60-130. I definitely expected better from this beauty of a ride. Lambo needs to twirk that v10 to make more than 620 hp. They've been sitting at that # for what seems like an eternity. A few adjustments here or there and they can get 700
I really like the color and the engine sounds great above 4,500 but honestly the performance is a little disappointing. Once the Hybrid Lambos come out the performance will show its age even more. I honestly like the C8 Z06 better or the C8 E-Ray for that matter. The Revuelto will be awesome as well. Congrats on the Koenigsegg!
How is it “disappointing” it’s an na rwd car running 10s and possibly 9s with drag radials while being a track car that isn’t “disappointing” you’re a casual mate
LOL these people that have never been to a track and their pipedreams. The car isn't going to go from mid to high 10s to a 9 second car with tire changes. They aren't that starved for traction. @learningfast I agree Huracan is a dated super car, Lamborghini is just milking the money of leftover chassis they have from ending production. It's all the left over Audi r8 transmissions 😅.
Nice. I have a 2018 LP 580-2 with SOUL Performance exhaust (non-valved) sounds glorious and now it is also 53 lbs lighter. I'm thinking about moving up to a Tecnica. I will pass on the EVO RWD but some people disagree about that.
